I think you would notice a 15 lbs. weight gain in how your clothes fit. I'd say water weight or scale error. I know it's discouraging, but use this as motivation to find the problem and just keep going! I get like this the day AFTER a really good workout. The day of I eat an average amount of food, but the next day I'm ravishingly hungry. Maybe it's the same for you?

Have you considered counseling or Overeaters Anonymous? I think figuring out why you're using food to cope and learning to turn toward healthier ways of comforting yourself is going to be your first step. Judging by your picture, you don't look like you have too much to lose. When you are close to your goal, the weight tends to come off more slowly. Stick with it. Even if it's inch by inch, you will see results :)

8 pounds in 8 weeks is actually great! One pound a week is a good amount, any more than that, and it could be too much. Keep it up! Also, if you're hungry all the time, your body probably needs more calories. Are you going off of MFP calories given or TDEE/BMR numbers?
