I dont like it by itself but am a huge fan of using it in everything from tuna salad to Guakamole!! Even mixed into plain tomato soup with some fresh tomatoes and basil! Yummy!

It's with the rice and you can use it like rice or kinda like couscous. It's got a slight nutty flavor.

I agree for a kid free vacay..Naples is great! The beaches arn't crowded and the sand is perfect! Plus there aren't a bunch of children running wild or college age kids drinking and disrespecting. Destin is nice too but more touristy. Key West is alright but if you are not staying at a hotel with beachfront you won't like…

Lets face it...at 100 cals a day you just arn't gonna get much nutrition. But even at that, to fast every few days (unless you have health issues) isn't gonna hurt you or slow your metabolisim. It would take several days of not eating enough calories to slow it down.:smile:

My cousin (who is a nurse) undergone this proceedure and said it was the worst pain she had ever went through. And shes had 4 kids! Hang in there! It does get easier. We finally just quit buying it. If/when my hubby or the kids want one they can get one when we go out to eat.(which in this econ. isn't very often!) I even made my oldest use his own money if he wants it that bad-needless to say he dosen't want it that bad!!!:tongue:

So if it takes more energy to burn those foods than they hold does that mean that they are 'free' foods? For example can you eat as many apples, or celery or blueberries etc... as you want and they will burn off on their own?

One of my favorite ways to make Talapia is to sprinkle 1T of Andy's cajun seafood seasoning on both sides of the fish and bake it at 400 for 5 min.-flip it over and bake it 5 more min. Its spicy and so yummy!!!
