I like getting the extra breath, so I do an open turn, but do still get a good push and streamline off the wall. Flip turns are faster, 1-2 seconds per lap, but not by that much if you do a good open turn. Just my 0.02.

When I was on restriction an exercise I could still walk and I did. But get some light hand weights, also body weight, pull ups chin ups are killer.

Live-in BF, it doesn't sound like your over the top planning your exercise? My OA friend did mealing planning and would only eat if he planned. Your logging planning your exercise seems resonable to me, but I'm not normal. Let your results do the talking...

I really like training with a masters swim team and my lane mates. I don't swim nearly as hard a pace alone the coach tells us what to do intervals rest sets... I think for me then i just show up and get a good work out.

I do just about every day and it does go up and down. This weekend I didn't as I was eatting so much, but checked this morning and was up 1-1/2,. I've turned off my notification as Im just trying to maintain and get stronger, and didn't need the encouragement everytime.

Edit- Heal up, it does sound like you over streched your oblique tendons-aka Tendinosis. Rest with light stuff, 'dog walking' etc. should be fine.

Last friday... Really, Water under the bridge or over the dam... But your right many are inacurate, What I've done is pick up a snack in the store and try and read the Cal/Per serving only to realize that there are 3-4 servings in a bag. Trail Mix is killer in this regard.

You need to ask yourself; Why are you doing it in the first place? If your goal is to give yourself something to train for and moitivate you then sign up for the 10K and do your best training to be ready and do your best. If you don't want to embarse yourself just sandbag and do the 5K but you need to work hard and kill it.

People don't really work on their cars any more so I doubt the auto parts on demand would generate many $. Along the same lines I've always wanted a garage 'club' where you could rent bays/lifts and tools. These used to be more common but again with less people working on their own cars and the liability issue I doubt it…

Yes - Is the answer. I don't eat very clean but have had good sucess counting caloires and exercising. I take a multi-vitamin and do get some fruits & veg.
