One of the great things about MFP is that anyone can contribute foods/calorie counts to the database! And...one of the crappy things is that anyone can contribute foods/calorie counts to the database. Unfortunately there are some bad, inaccurate foods in the database that can't be trusted. Your best bet is to try to find…

It's definitely your period! I always gain water weight at that time of the month. Don't sweat it, it will come off when it's over. Stick with it, you can do it!

Chasing down that runner's high, the feeling I am gliding gently over the pavement, a well-oiled machine, barely touching the ground. Some days I lumber through runs and never catch it, some days I find it immediately and set a new PR with ease. :)

My sister and I used to fight over these when we were kids, we loved to play with them! I still like them. They are tiny tables for my hamster, or my little toys and figurines. :D

Over the 4th of July I was able to walk up 15 flights of stairs at a brisk pace with no stops to rest! Last 4th of July I couldn't even do 7 flights without stopping. I'm very proud!

Didn't have to quit, I just never started. I'm 32 now and have never been drunk, I can count on one hand the times I did drink when I was younger...I never liked it. It's just not for me. I applaud your decision to quit! You are awesome! Think of all the empty calories you will be saving! :)

What's with the clickbank URLs? Isn't profiting off of MFP against the rules?
-
I let the app on my phone (or the treadmill, when I did C25K on there) track my calories and entered them manually into MFP under an excersize I created called "C25K"

As much as I wish it was, it isn't!

Yikes!!! One of my legs swelled up really bad when I got a blood clot in it (thanks hormonal birth control), but I don't have any pictures of it. But it was pretty gross looking

I have a Fitbit Zip and I love it. It really helps me to be more active! I love to see all of the little bars full, meaning I reached all of my goals for the day. I like the Zip because it's just a fancy GPS that syncs with my computer. Easy!

I love it!

No, I'm not fit...but I run about 15 miles a week. I run about 5 days a week, give or take

I read an article recently about how kids in France don't snack. It's just not a part of their culture...they eat meals and that's it! I think that's amazing and honestly wish I was raised without snacks all the time, maybe I'd snack less now ;)

Can you talk to your doctor about being put on another medication? I recently started Lexapro, and while it has become more difficult to lose, it's still coming off. It's a real struggle, I feel for you!
-
Could you talk to your doctor about switching to a med without a weight gain side effect? Wellbutrin is a good one, a lot of people actually lose weight on it! I'm sorry you're going through this, I know how tough it is!

I have this problem too! The good solution I have found is to buy men's basketball shorts to run in. They're big and baggy and they all have pockets...but sometimes they bunch up between my legs when running because they're so long. The other solution is to buy an armband or fanny pack/belt type thing to carry your phone…

We call it pretzel salad! It's a big hit with my friends

I am also an all or nothing type binger. I can't just eat two Oreos, I have to eat the whole sleeve--so I don't buy Oreos. I don' t keep them in the house at all, period. "Everything in moderation" is coming slowly as I learn how to eat better, control my emotional eating, and as I see results from my efforts. Keep only…

I don't like em, because I don't like the cheese sauce stuff Taco Bell uses. But my boyfriend loves them!

I'm boring! No tattoos (althought I would like some), my ears are stretched to 00g but that's it.
-
I am obese according to my BMI but people tell me I look just fine when I tell them I'm trying to lose weight. No I don't!
-
I'm a binge eater too and have been struggling lately. Things that help me are: - Do not keep foods you're likely to binge on in the house! I know that I can't just eat one or two Oreos, I'll eat the whole sleeve, so I just don't buy them. - When you feel the urge to binge, try to focus on why you feel that way. Usually…

I don't like soup and I'm not a big fan of cheese either, but there are still lots of things I enjoy eating! I consider myself a picky eater, but I'm working to get past that by trying new things. Since you like plain pasta, have you also tried rice, couscous, or quinoa? Eating some of these might be a good way for you to…

Running form! Make sure you aren't hitting the ground with your heels, aim for the balls of your feet of the middle of your foot when you land. Correcting my running form solved 80% of my knee problems, the rest was making sure I got good running shoes. :) Don't run in your floppy old Converse that you mow the lawn in, get…

PDA is important to me, so much so that I won't date people who are anti-PDA (or who aren't out and can't express affection in public). I don' t mean like making out in public, but I need to be able to hold hands, put our arms around each other, or give cute pecks on the cheek even when around other people. I like it! And…

My last ex and biggest age difference I've had was 7 years younger than me. It didn't work out because we were in such different places in life...she wanted to travel the world and stuff like that, I own a house and was ready to settle down. So we broke up after a couple months. My partner now is four years younger than me…

Hoping to lose some weight so I look and feel better in my clothes...and so that I look and feel better when binding! I have a cheap, crappy binder right now, but I want to buy a nice one. I won't feel very comforrtable wearing it if my belly sticks out farther than my boobs did, though. :P
