Naw it is easy let me see in my forties I earned a black belt and started playing soccer with a bunch of guys while running 5Ks. In my 50s I ran a 1/2 marathon, still run 5Ks, play soccer on an amateur team for over 40 guys, played soccer with a German team. Ran a spartan race...and a tough mudder. For a guy who in his…

The best piece of advice I ever received from some one was find something you like doing and then do it. I suggested sleep...the doctor was not amused. Some people have no sense of humor. I tried a variety of different sports because I liked wrestling when I was younger but as an adult somethings are just not done (no body…

zero...a very busy season and a race coming up as well....not enough time to eat mindlessly.

What I like best about this is...you ran your first...implying and hopefully I am right...not your last. Good luck and welcome to the fun.

Step One: Thank her for allowing you to donate those clothes to charity. Emphasize that it was the only way you could use them without returning them to her as they were big enough for four of you to get inside. Don't forget to take the tax deduction which she is kind enough to give you (sarcasm here) but emphasize with…

Walk/run it and don't worry about time just get the finish in and put it behind you. You can knock this one on its head without an issue if you are flexible.

Depends on what you like. There is every restaurant in the world available. I like the Brazilian BBQ but that is a personal preference. Several good places in the Theater district. Also some really good ones in Brooklyn. As for sightseeing aaccck Times Square, Staten Island ferry...some of the stuff you will see as you run…

Cheesecake or at least it is on the list that says...you eat this you add a mile to your running that day.

Exercise because afterward I don't feel hungry..and eat protein which my body needs to rebuild muscles. Even if you lose all the weight what will you look like without toning what you have?

Got to be a troll as there are so many reputable sites including several university studies that address this.

Think of us as team oriented people. We work well given support as in positive comments. Negative comments make for doubt and raise the question...are we part of the team. So when we fail...comments like nuts...that sucked and we got it next time I believe in you...work really well...comments like ...why did you do that?…

super..like the saying too.

OK RANT over back to doing what makes you happy.

She actually asked us? I am another who does not buy on looks...function and price are my measuring points. Though come to think of it...naw just kidding functionality is the key...a hammer will do for juicing until I find sometime a little better.

Awesome weight loss and by the way about the right rate to keep it off per the professional doctors and dieticians.

Start with a doctor's review and he/she will probably recommend walking for a few weeks first. After that you can try the C25K program or develop your own. But start slow and log. Log it all so in a year you can look back and be amazed at how far you have come.

You will do fine...relax. First it takes time and in three weeks you have already seen some serious changes and done better then most beginners. You will do fine. Keep going with the running adjust the water and food to fit and BTW I don't always eat more on the days I run even though I can. Evaluate the running impact at…

Any reason why you want to hit the calorie goal? I think of it more as a guideline based on general information and an exact mark to hit each day.

Accurate no...it is a source of amusement.

Well this is new.

Water and glucose are requirements to run. So you were light in one of those two areas.

Fitbit is awesome in that it gets me motivated to move and walk and not sit all day easy to do at this job. I use it and have used the Flex since June of last year and am very happy with it.
