HAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Dave Ramsey has a saying - people modify their behaviors when the fear of staying the same is worse than the fear of change. I have been guilty of the same thing - it's so much easier to not work out and not watch what you eat, but there are always consequences of that (clothes not fitting well is my consequence). I hope…

I hate Walmart in general. If you have a Sunflower Market or Sprouts where you live - they are great. Inexpensive and really good. I buy all my produce there.

I have the New Balance N4 - I got it at Target for $69. Some of the best $$ I ever spent! :)

I actually love tequila. Because I love it so much, I've found I can order a double shot on the rocks with some lime, and I can sip on it all night. I don't spend as much money, save on calories and don't get drunk because it's so strong, it takes me a really long time to drink it.

That is hilarious!

I just got back in to it a couple weeks ago myself. Did really well at the beginning of the year, then fell off the wagon in July after vacation. Thanks for friending me!

I wish I had that problem. Mine is the exact opposite - when I'm emotional, all I want to do is eat. I have to force myself not to!

I had a similar situation at my job. My finance told me to keep in mind that you don't know how clean people are in their own houses and what if they didn't wash their hands before they prepared all this food you're about to eat. That kept me away!

Dove bite-sized dark chocolates. Don't chew them - just let them melt in your mouth. They are 40 calories each and have nutritional benefits too! I don't think there's a pastry out there that would ever qualify as low-cal.

Love it!

I can't imagine a lot of fiber being a bad thing...

I can help on both! Weight Watchers has a scale that you can buy at Target, WalMart or Costco for about $50 that is a digital scale and is awesome. I can step on and off, move the scale to a different location and always get the same reading. Also, I JUST bought a new HR Monitor. New Balance for Women. It was $69.99 at…

Measure how much of the EVOO or sauce you use to marinate, then measure it again after to figure out how much was actually used ond the food.

Amen to that!

Yoga is one of the greatest workouts I've ever done. When I was practicing it regularly, I was more fit than I had ever been in my life. Yoga is good for everything - cardio, strength, flexibility and inner tranquility (depending on the classes you take). I always like a variety, so try some power yoga (for cardio and…

Silver tequila & diet Squirt with a squeeze of lime. Tastes just like a margarita - scratch that - better than a margarita, and the only calories are from the tequila. :)

Wheat thins have calories, fat and sugar. If you're eating a healthy diet and just need something to continually snack on with no ramifications, I'd say celery.

I did really well all day too - then gave in to a craving for plain Lays potato chips at about 3:30 this afternoon. Oh well. Like someone else replied - I was still WAY better than any day before I started this! :)

I think that when people are in denial about their own situations, it is easier for them to unintentionally sabotage the people close to them who are acknowledging the same problem and doing something about it. Hang in there, and stick with it. Maybe eventually you will inspire them.

How about a little 2% chocolate milk. I've read that it's a fantastic post-workout beverage for recovery and getting in some fast-burning carbs. You will get a tiny bit more protein, but you'll get some fat and carbs in too.

Stretching is the best relief. Epsom salt baths work too. I found this fantastic eucalyptus epsom salt at Walgreens ($5 for a HUGE bag). It makes my entire body feel so relieved and relaxed afterwords.

Very helpful. I didn't think it was bad if it's all lean/healthy protein and I was staying within calorie goals, but people around here seem to have really good input on these types of things. Thank you!

LOL. That's pretty funny.

I would look online. You'll be able to find a lot more options that way. Here are a couple to get started: sportsbra411.com/the-best-sports-bra-for-large-breasts www.barenecessities.com www.lindasonline.com/Sports-Bras You may have to spend a little more, but it would be well worth it.

I have the same problem, so I opt for capri's vs. shorts. :ohwell:

The only failure is making a mistake and not learning or growing from it. :flowerforyou:

Yep. Find some nice ripe avocados, mash them up, add some salt and lime juice. Delicious!!! Avocados taste so good, they really don't need a lot to "dress them up". :)

That exact same thing happened to me, and was the catalyst for me joining this site. For me, it was four pounds in one day. And like you - I resolved to only weigh in once per week, but I find myself weighing most days "just to see". Could you be retaining water? Make sure you're drinking enough and be very diligent about…
