Ha!Ha! Curiosity got the better of me. I could only hold out for a minute. I will add, 2 months ago and 15 lbs., I could only do about 10 secs. worth. Does that help? In any event, it got me off the couch for a minute!! Thanks!! :laugh:

I have to agree with you. I've tested and tried different foods, and I'm finding I'm really liking the healthy foods. No, way to shy also. For some reason I have no problem just talking to married men because there is no threat of looking stupid, because they don't (shouldn't) care, so it doesn't bother me (don't care if they like me or what I have to say - no pressure). But if I find him attractive, and I'm attracted - nope.

I almost did better when I wasn't working.... I watched Rachel Rae while fixing my salad and it took 30 minutes just to make it. I try to add as much fiber and water as possible to fill me up and keep me filled up. Also, when no one was home, I was more apt to get out the ZUMBA and exercise. Also, put in a musical/movie…

Hummus and red/green/yellow pepper sticks and a bottle of water. String Cheese + 6-8 almonds and a bottle of water. Radishes or celery Spicy salsa and a few chips (I can get away with 1/2 of normal if I eat one, and don't go for another until the spicy flavor diminishes) Grapes, cantelope balls.

Only the bakery chocolate chip cookie handed to the kids to keep them entertained for a few minutes. Helps with good behavior during the shopping trip. But a box of crackers??? EWW!!

I think it's great. Remember, an opinion is just that, an opinion. Try what you want, and keep doing what works. Don't log them. Cals vary enough with trying to choose the closest items sometimes - Not everything is exact, so I'm not going to worry about 10 - 50 cals here or there.

I was told I had diabetes 6 mos. ago (I'm 51) and was given Metformin to take. Yes, losing w/o exercise, but now I'm finding some flabby parts, and I'm thinking 'I'm definately not too lazy to exercise', so, I do some exercise each week. Even if it's going for an hour walk, dancing around the house for an hour, or lifting my 5 pound weights and stretching.

I upped my cals when I was exercising strickly, and was losing lbs. I'm guessing her metabolism has kicked in, and that is why she might need more cals. Good luck to you both!! Nice going on the weight loss so far!!

Basically I'm losing steadily, but find when I over do the sodium intake, I can gain back 2-3 lbs. in a day, and then it takes another 4-6 to take it off again.... but it's just water, so stick to it. Sounds like you are doing great! Keep up the good work!!
