  • Wow!! Congrats as the proof is in the pics!! You look fantastic and it does help those of us who tend to see the scale come to a halt... Onward!!! Thanks!
  • If it's a good sore, it's normal but most programs don't make you work the same muscles every day. I'd make sure to let your muscles heal before working the same ones again. If you have more than one tape try alternating upper & lower body? If they truly hurt that bad then I'd rest them a little... Good luck!
  • Having more energy, being able to buy clothes wherever... So many things I love now - including being able to run with my bestie!! Lol :flowerforyou:
  • That is huge!! Love it when you push yourself a little bit and you can get past it...yay for you, that is a fabulous NSV!!
  • I usually drink Michelob Ultra if I feel like having light beer... have fun!!
  • Love this.. and I've done so many of these things! How about when mfp becomes the topic of a party/gathering because you're playing with your phone app, saying: how am I going to log all these little appetizers?? LOL Then.... you find out: hey, I can have another glass of wine... bonus!! hehe :drinker:
  • Ditto! Yay, Go Massachusetts! Love these threads, people truly are from all over
  • Great post!! So true....
  • OMG... 100? My goal is to be able to do more than 5 regular pushups, I suck at them! LOL - So I will try and see how many full or 1/2 pushups I can do tonight!!! Thanks for the motivation! hehe
  • Congrats! Fabulous, visible results!! I am right there with you as far as the scale slowing down, hitting plateaus and seeing the tape measure results work faster... thank goodness right! Great job, your hard work is paying off - and I love Beachbody - using the Brazil Butt lift DVD's and LOVE them!!
  • I agree.... in the afternoon too many factors come into play: food/water intake, sodium, etc... first thing right after you get up, little clothing - hehe. But I'd just make sure it's once a week at the same time of day, whichever you choose...
  • Hi, I wouldn't buy it to necessarily break a plateau as cardio and eating clean should help more with that... however for toning and strength training, I would recommend it! His philosophy of targeting the triangle muscle group he describes is much better than some videos that only target one muscle in the back of the…
  • Congrats! It's awesome isn't it, those little NSV's along the way to keep us going. It's actually funny the things you realize when losing weight. Keep up the fantastic work and good luck with your healty lifestyle journey!
  • Congrats to you and FABULOUS results! Just goes to show you (and everyone) what a little blood, sweat & tears can do! Keep up the fantastic work, you truly are in inspiration!!
  • Firstly, I don't think it's a gross topic (especially compared to some that are out here, LOL!) but I LOVE to sweat from a good workout! I've lost 45 lbs and have not seen a change in the amount, personally. Heat and humidity definitely are a factor but without heat, etc it's more of how hard I'm working - as soon as I'm…
  • I ABSOLUTELY know what you are talking about and that is awesome! Congrats!!! as that's a great NSV!! Love all of those little moments along the way to keep us going... :flowerforyou:
  • Fantastic results!! Congrats, great idea to take pics as the proof is right here! Good for you, rock that figure - and oh, cute tattoo! :flowerforyou:
  • Congrats on both NSV's! Have loved these little victories. Yesterday, a co-worker called me and asked: hey girl, are you eating anymore? then giggled.... she's like you walked by me and I said who is that?? Did you lose weight? So I said yes, I'm eating and more healthy, actually - and have been working really hard -…
  • Sounds like a fabulous color! Something springy soon like OPI's 'Shootout at the OK Coral" would be fun :)
  • This sounds like it's all about me, thanks for posting! I will read later and am willing to try something different at this point!!
  • Great NSV!! Don't want to lose those rings!! hehe
  • Me too... for our Book Club - LOVED IT!!! Am now reading Portia DeRossi's story "Unbearble Lightness: A story of Loss and Gain" about her going through tough times with Bulemia... really good also.
  • ^ I used to think like this... for the past 25 yrs or so! LOL... but seeing how we started this journey together in May of last yr, he has been involved and at first was shocked (which is why I never wanted to tell him)... but now he is really supportive and knows I'm having a hard time breaking thru a plateau to lose the…
  • .... the girls at work ask why you're walking so funny? And can't sit down or stand up, for that matter... without moaning! LOL Love this post - been there, done that! hehe
  • Congrats on your NSV! I do love these little victories along the way. Yesterday, I was feeling pretty down due to the scale going up after a week instead of down (I had worked so hard!). When I got to work my 2 co-workers that sit next to me said to each other: "She looks so small today, huh?" then looked at me and said…
  • Coming from someone who also has knee problems (grinding due to cartilage breaking down) - I can relate. That is a HUGE NSV and I'm so happy for you! Thanks for sharing because there are so many workouts, dvd's out there and we all like to hear what works and why better for some. Good for you, keep up the fantastic work!!
  • Google this: (3 words): Brazil Butt Lift!! Incorporates different DVD's for all kinds of shapes... love it!!! And yes, squats, lunges, side lifts, help - which are also incorporated in these DVD's.... good luck!
  • Oh.... please please don't feel discouraged! I know I can speak for a lot of people on here that we all know how hard it is to lose 57 lbs... no matter where you started from! Keep doing what you're doing, as it's working and you should be proud of yourself for that! That's right, we don't have to see the pics if you're…
  • I love my new Brazil Butt lift DVD's - I just started, so I don't have true visible results to see yet, but judging from the (good) sore muscles I have afterwards, it seems to target the right areas, for sure! (& not just one muscle group) Good luck with your choices! :flowerforyou:
  • Welcome and good luck with your lifestyle change, as that's really what it is, don't think diet! Sounds like you're really on the right track to becoming a smaller, healthier you! Good for you for taking that first step. I'd suggest taking your measurements once at the end of every month so you can record your progress…
