30 minutes on the elliptical in the morning and 40ish minutes of strength in the evening.

Checked and I'm right in the ballpark. 80-100 seems average with 11-15 protein. I'm right in the ballpark.

Went and confused myself. Post cook was at 12.25 oz. So made my serving size 1oz and multiplied it by 2.15 which is the difference of pre and post cook. That get me in the ballpark of correct nutrition? Really only concerned about calories, fat and protein content.

Yeah I was wondering the same things. I know how much beef was there when I made it. I know what it weighs now. Trimmed some fat and must have tossed some other parts. I weigh everything. But I didn't think of weighing the extra marinade left over, good idea! But using just the meat stats will get me close enough though a…

I love love love Jersey Mikes and eat there a ton. What I typically get is a Big Kahuna Chicken in a tub. Shredded chicken, peppers, jalepenos, mushrooms and cheese. Instead of bread put it in a tub with lettuce and tomatoes. They have a spicy relish I have them put on instead of any dressing. (obviously I love spicy…

I love my ninja. Been using it around a year and it's some of the best money I've spent.

For free fitness blender and youtube. If you don't mind spending a few bucks, dailyburn. I struggled to stay working out consistently until I found dailyburn 365. I absolutely love it. A different workout everyday with a different trainer. The trainers do rotate trainers but I've never seen the same one in the same week.

Bojangles grilled sandwich or roasted bites and dirty rice is one of my favorites. Grilled chicken at KFC and the Cantina stuff at Taco Bell. McDonalds has some decent salads as well.

With rare exceptions it's a smoothie. Three main ones I rotate are strawberry and banana, mango/pineapple/banana and peanutbutter/banana. Mixed with two scoops of protein powder in either vanilla or chocolate mixed with 2% milk. Also toss in baby spinach. 500-600 calories depending on the mix. I eat around six in the…

I'm pretty much here. After a 12 hour shift it's hard to make a meal from scratch. Frozen chicken cordon blue and a bag of steamed veggies makes for a quite and healthy dinner, just not clean. I more or less hit my macros with being short on fat being the usual issue.

Smoothies for me. Been around a month on them and not tired of them yet. You have an almost infinite amount of combos. I have Hawaiian day with mango pinnaple, Strawberry banana and Peanut Butter Chocolate are my current three favorites.

I've found this really motivating, bumping this for others to see that may want to join in.

Mine is open, just ignore today. My wife treated for lunch so it's way off.

mines [edited by mods] Barefoot I tried yours a couple times and it wouldn't go through saying you didn't have an apple watch.

Was it a three mile walk or was three miles for the total of the day? If it was a three mile walk did you start it as an exercise in the Workout app?

You not eating nearly enough. 5'10 193 and MFP had me set at 1770 for 1lb a week loss. Yours will be a little less but you don't mention eating back any of the calories your burning. You eat 1300 and but 300 your down to 1000, way to little. Eating less is not always better.

I have a smoothie every morning for breakfast. I try to mix it up but the same general theme; 50mg protein powder, frozen fruits, cup of milk, a spinach/kale mix and ground flax. I drink it around 6 and don't get lunch until 12-3 depending on the day. I take a hard boiled egg to get me through on days I don't get to eat…

I love my Apple Watch. I use a Polar BT HRM for my workouts and an app called motifit. I don't use the build in app, I like the analytics I get from the Motifit app. It syncs steps from the watch and the calories from the workout perfectly.

I have a smoothie for breakfast everyday. I add variety but the same basic idea. Milk, frozen fruit, a banana, protein powder, baby spinach and ground flax or chia seed. Simple, fast, easy and nutritious.
-
Could get a bluetooth one and sync it to his phone and have it on the side of the room. I use a Polar BT HRM and love it.
-
I'll get in on this as well. You can laugh at how out of shape I am lol.
-
I go fairly regularly, I just opt for the grilled chicken instead of fried. Add some mashed potatoes and skip the biscuit. Minus the high sodium it ain't bad.

Optimum Nutrition Gold in Rocky Road and Vanilla.

I am a big fan of the Apple Watch. Been using it a year or so and love it. I use a chest strap during workouts as all the wrist based HR trackers are iffy at best. My wife will be buying the Charge HR 2 shortly which is supposed to have better HR tracking on the wrist.
-
I have the original and love it. I don't run so have not need for the GPS or Series 2. I am considering selling mine and buying a new Series 1 with the faster processor, darn thing is slow. But the new OS update next week is supposed to make things much snappier, I'll make my decision after spending some time with that.

I have a ninja I only use for smoothies though, absolutely love it. Best $110 I've spent in a while.
-
Today, about 1700. 500 in my shake and 1200 in my beer, going to be a light dinner. Not hitting my macros. Beer is my cheat meal.
-
I'm buying the Charge 2 for my wife. Love my Apple Watch but she doesn't want to have something that expensive, the Charge 2 seems pretty perfect for her.
-
I use Optimum Nutrition Rocky Road and Vanilla daily. I used the Rocky Road for a long time with just milk as a shake. Now I make smoothies with them. I like the taste and nutrition they have. I won't be changing brands anytime soon.

protein mixes are an easy way to help hit that goal. i have 1-2 a day, love my smoothies,
