:( I wish I had more advice for you. I've noticed it too over the past year but I'm certainly not going to say anything to him about it -l- What about getting him to take Mr.Jude out for walks again? He could certainly use the exercise too not only for dog weight but to keep him from being squirrely. Plus I'm sure he'd…

no. a pound is a pound.

Both! I measure once a month both measurements and weight. The scale and tape measure are sliding down this month, which makes me happy. It's been a while since seeing any progress.

All my races are solo, even when I meet up with friends/start with them. I'm a pretty slow runner so once the crowd thins out, I get ditched ;p

I used Precision™ Sport Supplements ISO-PRO® Low Carb - Vanilla all last year and really loved it. i got it from GNC. It took a little bit to get used to, but I used it with 50/50 unsweetened almond milk and water. Helps if it's really cold too *L* As you know my insides are delicate little creatures and it never upset my…

I haven't finished it but I do have the program. It says on every workout description that you will need resistance bands. You can usually get them single or in packs of different "weight" resistance.

I was suffering from crushing anxiety last spring. It was making me house bound, I was exhibiting irrational behavior towards my family - it was bad. I did some counseling sessions (which I thought was hokey, I didn't like my counselor but I did get some stuff worked out) but also with my dr. did a blood work and my B12…

Did the 3k today with my 6 year old. Every step reminded me of why I hate winter. BUT - my son got his "snowflake" medal which makes it all worth it.

Thanks for those 2 sites! I found 2 great recipes that I can use items in my fridge that need using up in the next 24 hours.

Did one NYD last year and it was one of the best things I've done. It's a charity fundraiser for the local children's hospital and was a big party on the beach. I wanted to do it again this year but we were out of the country for the holidays. 2014 I'll jump again!

I'm registered for the full. It won't be pretty or fast but I'm getting it done.

I live right across from the Walkley Goodlife and it's the one i went to when I was a member there. It was clean enough and alright if I went in the morning, but the crazy wait for cardio machines in the evening and their trainers/customer service sucked. It was those three last things that made me quit Goodlife for good.…

Vanilla almond milk. It's pretty awesome in my coffee. I had switched from cream, to whole milk, down to 1% to skim and then black, no sugar. The almond milk gives me a bit of sweetness and flavour while cutting the bitterness of the coffee. It's less than 10 calories for an ounce.

hahah ok i was really torn between laughing at this one or heaving a little....

Small samples of everything I want to have. Going to make sure I stick to drinking lots of water, watch my booze intake and ensure I hit my workouts that are scheduled. I don't believe in making holiday eating this huge thing to be terrified of and let that rule over my life/making the time with friends and family…

I personally avoid soy like the plague and since you cannot have nut based milks, look for rice or oat milk. They're both as tasty as almond milk!

For those who are interested in tubal ligation, there is a less invasive way of having your tubes tied. It's called the Essure procedure. I had mine done in January of last year . It's not immediate, there is a 3 month time span where you have to wait for the coils to be blocked through, but it's much nicer than having…

We used a sticker chart at the beginning. Every time the bathroom was successfully used, there was a sticker applied to the chart. A full chart at the end of the week meant he could have a special treat (a candy or matchbox car etc). We never asked if he had to use the bathroom, we just routinely every hour said, POTTY…

We go through this with my son in the opposite way. He's 6 and a bean pole. On a good day he probably weighs 41 pounds. Tall and skinny this kid is and always shall be. We place a LOT of importance on eating whole healthy foods and exercise to help his body grow in the best possible way. We do not restrict treats or junky…

My experience 2 years ago with Winterman 5k. It was stupid cold. I think it was almost -20 with the windchill. The race has hills in both directions along the parkway (OMG UPHILL BOTH WAYS, IN THE SNOW.. just gotta get you to go barefoot!) and for the most part it's ok closer to the War Museum and around the turn around…

Lazy. I got enough to do. I only weigh every 2 weeks. I measure myself every 3 months... comparison photos every 6.

I currently wear Shockabsorbers in the highest support level. I need to move down a size though as I'm finally getting a bit of movement in the chest area, so YAY getting smaller boooo need new bras. I would any day rather spend $60+ on a good sports bra than the same amount of money on a few cheaper bras and double up…
