I say.. give up, be fat, be unhealthy. This is hard work and if you aren't up to it, then just quit. There are so many on here with busy lives that struggle to fit in time to exercise and they do it. Why? Because they make it a priority, they suck it up when it gets tough and they keep on going. The easy way out is to just…

Hi! Good for you that joined MFP. You will find so much support and wisdom here. I feel for you. It is soo hard to get motivated and to stick with this but you absolutely can do it. For me, the number one thing is changing what I eat. I still need to tweak it a bit but sticking to lean meats, whole grains and…

Hi everybody, my name is Rhonda. I will be 55 years old this month.I am a mother of 3 grown kids and grandmother to 3 precious boys. I am 5 feet tall with a tiny frame. People don't have to jump up and say "amen" but why did so many feel the need to answer this post with negative, ridiculing, sarcastic comments? If you don't agree with her and the power of prayer, just go on. Every time I get on the forums I see so much negativity and criticism. Do you act like this to people you come face…

I have the same problem! My daughter and I are doing Jillian michaels and we know we are supposed to have a rest day but it is so hard to give in. We have decided on that day to do a yoga DVD that lasts about an hour. It is nowhere near the intensity and has much needed stretching. It is kind of a compromise.

. My thanksgiving meal was about 600 calories. Leftovers for dinner was even less. I measured everything and minimized my desserts. I was stuffed , I tasted everything and was not deprived in the least. It was all about portion control for me

I logged it and was surprised to find I was under calorie goal. The only thing I can chalk it up to was small portions. I measured everything and when it came to pies,I had slivers. I do not feel deprived at all. In fact, I was stuffed. It also helped that I worked out as usual.

I usually exercise at lunch and as soon as I get home I pop in Jillian's ripped in 30. It is a heck of a workout in just 30 minutes.

I have so enjoyed reading the comments on this work out. My daughter and I have been doing RI30 for 5 weeks now. Yes, 5 weeks!! After starting week 1 and realizing that we would never be able to perform these exercises as well as we like in just one week intervals, we decided to do each week for 3 weeks. We just didn't…

I weigh 141.... Which means I would have to eat 987 calories to lose weight? Does that mean if I eat 1200 calories I will gain? Is this right?
