Running Goals for 2014
What are everyone's running goals for 2014? I will start. 1000 miles in a year 1 race a month 2 marathons - under 5 hours… argh Rachel Carson Challenge 35 mile endurance hike challenge (not really a run but there will be some running involved) 4 half marathons I want to be under 2 hours in all of them lol

My First Ultra 50k then marathon 6 weeks later
I think I know what plan I want to use for my first ultra. But I am not sure what to do after to prepare for Pittsburgh Marathon 6 weeks later. Suggestions, ideas?

2014 Goals so far...
How is everyone doing with 2014 so far? Are you reaching your goals? I am target to reach 1000 miles this year. I have had a race every month so far. I just have register for one in November and December. I have made it to a sub 2 hour half and sub 27 min 5k, and I ran 1 marathon so far and I am training for #2!

Adding mileage safely
After I run the Pittsburgh Marathon and hopefully not too beat up and take a break I want to come back strong and add mileage to really step it up to train for my fall marathon. Now that I ran my first marathon....
I think I may become addicted. It was hard... harder than I thought it would be. I knew it wouldn't be easy. I am looking for others doing this program. I just started it yesterday. I just finished day 2. I did chalean extreme and loved that. I always wanted to give the turbo stuff a try and I am loving it so far. Once I finish this I am going to do a turbofire/chalean extreme hybrid.

What a difference a year makes
