The only time I enjoy water is while I am working out because I'm so thirsty but just sitting at work at a desk - it's hard! I do NOT drink soda, juice,…

SQUATS: Machine vs. Squats wtihout weights

My friend and I are doing 100 squats a day for the next 30 days and I’ve been using a machine 100 in a row between 35-55 lbs vs. my gf is doing them free without weights (she is a fitness trainer). Would I get…

Just curious to see what the ratio is for people who use this site as to: how many of you find it a necessity to eat all your exercise calories and that is the only way you can lose weight or you just feel that is THE LAW….VS. how many of you do NOT eat your exercise calories and lose weight just fine or feel that being…

Eating crap, no exercise and still losing, how could this be
I've been exercising religiously and eating healthier up to 1200 calories a day since November of last year. I've lost over 25 lbs and won two biggest loser competitions at work. I started at 175.8 lbs and at the end of the competition on 4/26 I weighed in at 147.8 lbs. I went to Vegas & Disneyland that weekend when…

Make your committment here....
Lets all make at least one committment today to get us closer to our goal weight/goal. No excuses today. It can be a small committment like parking farther in the parking lot to get in a few more steps before going into the grocery store or a big committment like burning 1000 calories in exercise or trying something new at…

JENNIFER HUDSON LOOKS AMAZING!!
Check her out. She has come a long way but only in a few short months. It is rumored that she is 5'9 and 140-145 lbs now but she doesn't look 145 lbs for someone of her height. Either way, she looks great!! An inspiration!…

INTO THE 50'S (NEW GROUP)
I need some motivation so I wanted to start a small group for those that apply. I started this journey @ 175 lbs and I am currently 164 lbs. I have been trying so hard to get "INTO THE 50'S". I just need a push and accountability to see the scale show "159", even if for a day lol. (just kidding). My ultimate goal is…

If you can't account for it....DONT EAT IT! ?
I have a little issue when it comes to eating away from home and not being able to see nutrition facts for a food establishment. There are a lot of ma and pa sandwich shops, chinese food, etc. where you cannot find the nutrition facts for their menu so I just skip it all together vs. playing the guessing game. Do a lot of…

Why the weight gain??
I am struggling with a little confusion here. The BMR calculator is telling me if I were to sit around all day, not exercise and eat 1700 calories a day, I would be able to maintain my weight. Not lose, not gain but stay the same. I've been sticking to 1200 calories a day using MFP as well as exercise at the gym about 4-5…

sweet n low sweetener
I'm a little confused. I use sweet n low, equal, splenda, etc as sugar substitutes for coffee. I just noticed that 2 packets of sweet n low are accounting for 2 grams of "SUGAR" in my food diary. Could this be right? I thought sweet n low was a sugar substitute, does it really have sugar in it?

Milk alternative please
I eat a lot of raisin bran cereal and for example I would eat maybe 1.5 cups of cereal and 3/4 cup of 2% milk. The milk is killing me - calorie wise and I cannot give up my yummy cereal. Biggest Loser contest - NOT BEING FAIR!
So we started a biggest loser competition at work on 11/9 and as a group we all agreed it would run from 11/9/09 to 1/11/10. As of yesterday's weigh in, I just took the lead. It appears that the person who has been in the lead the entire time has gained some weight during the holidays as well as a lot of other people in…
