People Assuming You are Straight
So, I am currently engaged to my partner of 6 years. It annoys me and is awkward when people assume you are straight. I am a receptionist and I had a lady ask me when I am going to get married "to my husband to be." Just because I am girly, does not make me straight. I wish people would stop assuming. I am doing the EA Sports Active 2 fitness game for PS3. I started the workout program on there and have done 4 days worth. Has anyone tried it actually doing the program? If so did you see any good results?

Finally Made the Diet Soda Cupcakes!!
I finally made the cupcake recipe that I saw on the forum. I used. 1 Box of Orange Supreme Cake Mix 1 Can of Diet Orange Soda 2 Egg Whites Cool Whip Vanilla Frosting You just blend all of these ingredients together and bake as cupcakes. First Day of Couch 2 5k!
I just finished my first day of Couch 2 5k! It was HARD! I didn't realize how out of shape I had gotten until today. Considering I was very sick yesterday with a stomach bug, I think finishing the run/walk and burning 285 calories in the process was a success!!

Too many rest days....
Today I completed Week 1 Day 3. I definitely took too many days off in between days of running because it felt like Day 1 all over again. It was discouraging and there is no way I can start Week 2. Should I add a Week 1 Day 4 or start all over again? Thanks.

Couch 2 5k and water?
Those of you that are doing or have done couch 2 5k, do you all carry a water bottle while running? I am thinking about starting the program but would find it annoying to carry the bottle while running. However, running with no water doesn't seem like a good idea...

Foods high in B12?
I am tired all the time. I talked to my doctor about it and they tested my blood. My Vitamin D was extremely low and my B12 was low. I am already working on my Vitamin D but now I need to focus on my B12 as well. Does anyone know any foods high in B12?

Just Tried Kale Chips... :0(
I just tried Kale Chips because people on here rave about them. I actually found them disgusting! They were SOOOO bitter!!! I have a Polar FT40 and it keeps reading 00 no matter what. I want to try changing the battery but it says it takes a CR2025 battery. Where do you buy one for those of you who have replaced yours before??? I checked out Polars website and they are no help. Thanks!

Question About How to do Sets?
Do you all do all three sets in a row when doing an exercise move before starting a new move. OR, do you all do all 3 sets in circuit fashion?? I'm still in phase one.

Spinach Does Not Change Taste of Shake...
FYI... If you add spinach to your favorite shakes, it does NOT change the flavor AT ALL! No matter how much you add it does nothing to flavor. It only adds nutrients. I was just wondering what all you runners do about peeing during a half or full marathon? Do most of you wait until the end or go during? I have always wondered this because it would get in the way of a timed event (esp. for the ladies).

1 Year Difference Pictures!!
The picture on the left is of my partner and I right before we started MFP at the Diabetes walk last year. The one on the right is of me (the person in the red shirt) 37 pounds lighter and my partner (in the white shirt) 15 pounds lighter! It has been a long road but well worth it! We are halfway there!

ADA Walk Pictures 1 year later! (37 pounds lost!)

NSV Shopping!!!
I just went shopping (which I haven't done in about a year) and I realized I am in between a size 12 & 14. Last year at this time of year I was a 18 going on 20!!!!! I had my "fat" frame of mind and grabbed size 17s and realized I had to go DOWN! It made me feel soooooo good!

A Person Smoking Before Gym?
I've always found it funny to see a really healthy and in shape person inhaling a cigarette right before heading into the gym. It actually is ironic. The person is doing something really healthy for themselves while counteracting that with something that is useless and can kill you? Has anyone else ever found this ironic?

Plateau ended because of a buffet!
I had been in a plateau for over two months and could not figure out why! Sunday for Mother's Day I ate at a buffet. I did not log ANYTHING and ate whatever I wanted (pretty much everything). I am going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg today and I looked at their website and they do not provide nutrition facts on there. I have NO idea what I am going to eat!
