First Sprint Triathalon-what to wear
Ladies, what do you wear for these events? I see a lot of people in full Tri suits (or whatever they are called) but Im wondering if anybody just wears a bikini top and shorts? I would hate to have to run a 5k in that suit, I feel like it can get hot.

So very excited thought I would share with fellow running enthusiasts! I also wanted to take a quick poll on how much I should run from now until race day, Jan 18. "I used to eat what I want and not gain weight"
Hmmmmm, I've said that one too many times, and just realized that is entirely untrue! It just dawned on me the other day that if that were in fact true, I wouldnt have ever gained weight! All through my 20's I never considered myself overweight. I was on average 120-125 and my diet consisted of mainly fast food and junk…

How do you guys do it? Im talking 97 degree heat with 100% humidity on some days..... Im thinking of taking a hiatus from running until September. Pretty Runners feet, Pipe Dreams?
Ladies, its sandal season again. Any of you runners have unsightly runners feet? I seem to always be recovering from some sort of blister or callus these days. Anyone else? I thought switching out my socks would help but doesnt seem to have made a difference. I just recently purchased some body glide to coat my feet while…

Plain and simple. What does it do for you? Is it hard? Does it burn calories? Strength train? I am clueless about it and was wondering if I should incorporate in to my workout routine.

1st 10k-To run or not to run
I have never ran anything longer than 5k's but always said I wanted to try and tackle a 10k. I run 2-3 times a week, each time only running 5k's. My other fitness routine consists of bootcamp every Thursday and PT sessions every Monday and Friday. I would say I am in decent shape. There is a 10k in my area in 2 weeks. With…

I asked this questions on the Fitness Forum, but just in case I dont get a response, I thought I would ask here as well..... After reading all the favorable reviews it looks like this will…

Runtastic gone crazy
I use the Runtastic App Pro to track my running. It has decided to go crazy my last two runs. For instance, there is a 5k route I always take, same route, no changes, the last two runs, its says I have run 8k's. Clearly that is not the case. When I am done with the run, I look at my session summary and the route it…

running and bathroom needs :)
anyone else have to go to the bathroom during a run? Do you eat certain foods to avoid this? Worried about this if I try a 10k next month. I run 5k's twice a week and 9/10 I dont have any issues, but sometimes I have to make a mad dash to bathroom after my run, so adding more miles is making me nervous.
