Thank you. Since your previous post is still up, I will say that in my mind the hostility is coming not necessarily from your words, but your actions. We use the thread to efficiently identify and bust spam. Coming in here and scanning through things that aren't spam - yeah public forum and all that but sometimes it gets damn irritating and I feel the need to say something, even though that contributes to the stated problem of posting non-spam posts

Perhaps a "Please DON'T flag the spam" topic to be bumped each time you guys see this one?

I'd hate waking up to that many notifications that MFP still hasn't resolved the spam problem, let alone any other side comments, so I understand. Still, looking back over this thread, there are many instances of the flaggers discussing things unrelated to anti-spam efforts and I don't see this type of response directed towards those conversations. I didn't read the entire thing, so maybe I missed it.

In any case, I've no interest in creating an anti-flag thread to bump every time this one come up because that would occupy all my time in the forums, which is exactly my point; users should not have to devote their time to a concerted anti-spam campaign. I'll probably just pop in here from time to time to remind people that there is an opposing viewpoint to this strategy.

Mass spammer moji454 also has posts well into page 3 of introduce yourself. Actually used the computer for once to flag spam so I could use the "End" button to get to the flag area faster! Off to Google an equivalent on iPhone...
