This is the link I've always used: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/search?author=
Then add the username at the end of the link. Example
http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/search?author=sugaraddict4321
It's actually faster on my phone than searching because I created a keyboard shortcut for it...1 -
Fab! Thanks JaneiR36!

I find it easiest to just use the Recent Discussions view - takes 2 or 3 minutes to flag 20+ spam threads each morning1

Agreed! I use that method to browse posts normally, so when there's a bunch of spam I just keep going to page three of Recents or thereabouts. But if someone posts here saying CaptainSpamALot is up and about, then I try to just find posts by that user, too. I used to quickly switch back and forth between "followed categories" and "all categories" to flag spam, but last I checked, vanilla broke that and both views will only show sub forums I'm following. So if a spammer is in the Recipes or Gaining weight section, I wouldn't see those spam messages in my "Recents" view without further action of some sort.1 -
I noticed 1 night, possibly last night; there wasn't spam. Then I noticed that Nova, posted something; at approximately 1:00 A.M. So I figure that's why, possibly Nova's been given; a night shift.0

Wish there was someone on night shift right now. Our T119 Spam Gang is back in force.

My personal viewpoint is that all of these are actually one user with multiple accounts and they jump from one account to the next to get past the Maximum # posts/minute rule that MFP has. For me the give away is the time on each posting is offset from the other similar posts.1 -
Yes Jane! You Can have these! I just saw you pop on Nice Job Girl!

@Hearts_2015 , my understanding is that first link is still a spam bot that generated a post containing meaningless gobbledegook, and therefore spam flagging is very okay. The post still needs to be auto deleted and the account banned. I think the "advertising" that should be reported is actually a legit account, possibly a long standing account with decent posting history where the user has created an inappropriate link to an external site that could be considered advertising for personal gain. They wouldn't want to delete a legit account so that shouldn't make it to the spam account chopping block1

OK, I'll go with that, I flagged it and it only needs one more. For a bit there I was getting a number of reminder PM's for flagging those type inappropriately so I'm probably just being overly cautious now. lol0 -
A couple left from kaluhung and one for dulurbatur, the rest have been fived out of existence
Weird on one of the remaining 3 - I got the 5th Spam flag for it, but it won't disappear, because it's also got an abuse flag.0 -
