Wraps or bread that are clean?

Are there any brands of wraps or syrian bread that are considered clean? I wanted to find some items that are hopefully available in mainstream grocery stores (ie Market Basket, Hannaford, Stop and Shop). Thanks!

What is clean?0

Just make sure they're not moldy.0

The problem you're going to have with clean wraps and bread is that, when you wash them, they will get soggy.0

Make sure you don't open the bag upside down, it'll fall to the ground and get dirty... no longer clean.-1

I tend to make sure all my bread stays off the floor and such. So all my bread is clean.-1

Um... try whole wheat? But yes, I wouldn't recommend washing them.-1

The majority of "clean" eaters will tell you that no bread or wrap is considered "clean" eating.
That's why I prefer to eat "dirty".

If it falls on the floor for over 10 seconds it's not clean.-1

Pfft. 5 second rule. Check for dog hair and you're gold.-1 -
I understand what you mean when you say clean but want to warn you are probably going to get a lot of responses asking what is clean and a bunch of responses that vary from humorous to sarcastic to borderline rude. "Clean Eating" is a touchy subject here. See the forum below for an example. Groups are a better place to ask this question.

Here's one clean eating group.

1. Take any bread you like from the grocery
2. Scrub it, I guess?
3. Eat!
4. ???
5. PROFIT
Really though, eat whatever bread you like in moderation, if that's your thing. Why does it have to be clean?0 -
Just don't buy bread that is moldy and you're good to go.-1

Can someone please explain to me how bread is not clean? I'm really confused on this one. I thought whole wheat bread was considered clean.
I'm not a clean eater so I really don't know much about the do's and don'ts0 -

It depends on the definition of clean that one is using. I've seen clean defined on these boards as:
Nothing but minimally processed foods.
Nothing processed.
Shop only the outside of the grocery store.
Nothing out of a box, jar, or can.
Nothing at all with a barcode.
Nothing with more than 5 ingredients.
Nothing with more than 4 ingredients.
Nothing with more than 1 ingredient.
No added preservatives.
No added chemicals.
No chemicals, preservatives, etc. at all.
No ingredients that you can't pronounce.
No ingredients that sound like they came out of a chemistry book.
No added sugar.
No added refined sugar.
Swap white sugar for brown.
Nothing but lean meats, fruits, and vegetables.
So you can see that certain breads would fit some of those definitions and some breads fit none of them.

Flour is processed. Therefore, some think anything made with flour (even whole grain) is processed and not "clean."
Also, lots of people just use "clean" to mean not consistent with their personal diets and eliminating grains is currently popular (either as part of paleo or a low carb approach or some anti gluten thing or otherwise).

I use Joseph's flatbread or the Flatout kind for wraps.0

I've always found that bleach works best on cleaning bread.
OP, what do you define by clean?

Yes, I've had this experience lol
Anyway, OP, If you're concerned with "clean", why not use huge romaine leaves/lettuce leaves and put whatever you'd put on a sandwich in the leaves?

Because "clean eating" is an arbitrary term, and no one really knows quite exactly what it means, since it means something different to everyone.
I use arnold sandwich thins, because they have 100 calories. They are probably covered in filth, i have no clue.

The word "clean" makes people a tad mental here.
That said: Ezekiel is a very healthy brand of both breads and wraps.0
