It is Thirsty Thursday. I keep seeing requests for tips in my other groups on how to liven up water, because it can be so boring. Especially for those of who are not used to drinking so much. Fruit is the key.5xw7zv8o94rt.png

Check out the website below for some GREAT recipes for FRUIT INFUSED WATER! It is a GREAT healthy way to add some flavor to your water and make sure you get in your daily requirement. Remember to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water!!

Had an ok run last night. Only 2.5 miles. A lot of sprints though. Gotta love that interval training! How was your day yesterday?

I have a son 23 and a daughter 16. My son is grown and on his own but my daughter keeps me busy with all of her sports. I could use friends and support managing my meals and exercise when the weather gets warm. It's hard eating healthy on the road all summer long. Add me!

I made these this morning. Only, I didn't have protein powder, so I had to use chocolate Shakeology. Still came out pretty darn good!

Clean Recipe that is oh so good!! Give it a shot this weekend.

    BANANA PANCAKES

    1 Banana
    2 Eggs

    1/4 c. Oats

    1/4 c. Milk

    3/4 Scoop Protein Powder

    1 tsp Cinnamon

    Put all ingredients in blender.

You can double this recipe & store in fridge for the next day!

Just got started two weeks ago with MFP. Our kids are grown and out of the house but we keep plenty busy with 21 grandchildren now. My goal is to get back on the ski slopes next winter. Its been six years since last ski trip and I miss it a lot. 8 lbs down and 75 to go. I can use friends and support here so anyone is welcome to add me. Any other ski bums here???

Morning everyone. I wanted to share with you a tip that I share in my clean eating challenge.

Did you know that the calories quoted on a package are actually an estimate? It can be off base by as much as 25%!!

While counting calories is okay, do not rely on it solely as the best tool when it comes to losing, gaining or maintaining your weight.

The solution? Move away from processed foods and very large portions and move toward whole foods. When your daily intake is primarily whole foods, your body will operate in the way it is supposed to and will actually regulate what you need.

My daughter survived her first meet of the season. Rough start but she pulled it together. She placed 2nd on vault, 4th on bars, and helped her team to pull 2nd place. I am so proud of her!

That it awesome!! My baby is almost ready to compete.

New mom's, new grandma's. Fabulous. It is Monday, and I don't know about you, but I feel great today. I hope you all do too! So, what is on the calendar for this week. Some HIIT action? Cutting out the soda? Eating more vegetables and whole foods! Please share your plan.

I know how you feel. I work 12 hour days and then I'm off to arena right after work for my daughters figure skating. Most days I leave house at 5am and don't get home until 7 or 8 at night. It's hard to find time to work out.

    Eat less CRAP:
    Carbonated drinks
    Refined sugar
    Artificial sweeteners and colors
    Processed foods

    Eat more FOOD:
    Fruits and veggies
    Organic lean proteins
    Omega-3 fatty acids
    Drink water

Remember, food is fuel. And the better the fuel, the better your performance. I went through this yesterday. My nutrition sucked, and as an result I got a massive headache midway through my routine and had to stop. I wasn't to happy about that.am7mtyvt6o4v.jpg

Hello! I'm a mom of five. Ages 16, 10, 2, 1, and one month. I can hardly find time to shower alone, much less hit the gym, but I'm determined to figure it out. I'm currently doing squats, calf raises, planks, push ups every time I take my two year old to the potty. I'm not doing much cardio but I rarely sit. I'm trying not to focus on what I can't do and fit it in where I can.

@x_tina324‌ You definitely have your hands full. Good job though getting stuff done when you take your 2yo to the potty. That's good thinking right there. You could incorporate some jumping jacks or burpees, then you have some of the cardio aspect ;)

Hey folks, today, focus on drinking your water. Your body needs it to help you get the best results you can. Also, try to have a glass of water with your meals. it will help you stay full and help with digestion. u8xlwjpykrvj.jpg

I finally received my Body Beast shirt for completing the program. WIN! this is my 5th one I get to add to my collection for completing a program. There are plenty more I didn't claim, but someday I will. These are my trophies, my first place medals, and I am proud of them!

If any of you are interested, I have a FREE 21 day fitness challenge and accountability group starting up next Monday. It is going to be pretty basic, HIIT style exercises, no more than about 5-15 minutes a day, depending on how intense you wan't to go. If you are, let me know.

You can do a hundred bur-pees, 60 push ups, 20 pull ups, and 99 sit ups until you are blue in the face, but if your nutrition isn't even remotely close to being as good as it can be, you will not achieve the results you are looking for!
