    Hope everyone had a great Christmas time! :)

    I helped move some furniture around on the 24th, (to make space around the tree) and ended up with the couch sitting on my toe. Ouch!
    Nothing broken or otherwise serious, but putting on shoes (and running) hurts. Today I decided that since it's only one toe out of ten, it might not be too bad, and went out anyway. But no, one bruised toe is enough to ruin a run - wasn't any fun at all. I'll try a short run again on Sunday. Let's see if I can still reach my goal... There aren't many days left in December, but there's also not that many km missing.

    I did run Christmas morning. Felt great! I felt so sick after dessert on Christmas. Not used to eating so much junk - and I really didn't eat that much compared to what I would have a few years ago.

    Before and after pictures of 5K on Sat night. I'm 5'7" even though I look short here, my daughter is just very tall. She signed us up for another 5K on Jan 1. :smile:

    Heading to San Diego in the morning for the final half marathon for this year on Sunday! I am so looking forward to it. Going to be clear and cold (for CA) at the start - around 40 and in the 50s at the finish at the beach.

    Congrats to all for their progress and to those who have complete their challenge early! I had to pull out at the very beginning of the month for a knee injury that I'm currently waiting on MRI results for. It got smashed in a flag football game and I couldn't see my knee surgeon for two weeks because I was out of state at school and dealing with finals. Even though it doesn't seem like there's any major damage, I'm still limping and having mobility issues nearly 3 weeks later, so I need to rule out any incomplete tears in my ligaments.
