Witty - if she can't crack a joke she is a boring date.

Healthy - I'm not ganna be taking some addict cig smoker out -
Gracious - has to be quick to forgive dating me
assumption of good will - she must assume I'm 'not like other guys'
Good in bed - obviously she doesn't need to be a porn star, but she needs to either be good or willing to do anything I lead into.
sexy
Moral - if she is willing to hook up with me on the first 3 dates I will never make her my gf - a friend yes but not wifey material and I will only make a lady my gf if I am serious at seeing where things are going
Quick to laugh - I am full of jokes, she needs to be quick in conversation
Willing to stand up for herself - I don't like dating Ms. no confidence head nodding to everything - if she disagrees and has an opinion I love to hear it out
Speaks multiple languages - a very very good and sexy thing
Educated - needs to have at the very least a bachelors degree
High IQ - willing to keep up in abstract conversation
Loyal - having some integrity
Trusting - has to trust I'm not sleeping with every girl that tries to sleep with me
Fashion expert - I dress incredibly well, she doesn't need to be rocking only designer brands- but she does need to dress phenomenal
obviously groomed
Long hair - I've dumped women for having haircuts I'm not fond of - and if it isn't long then it looks masculine and bad period.
Silly - she has to be willing to tease me and get silly and goofy
Parents are together - I won't date a chick with daddy issues
No emotional baggage - I took a class from emory university and am well aware that 1/5 or 1/6 women has been sexually assaulted - that is ok - however if they are still hurting and not over it all I don't have time to deal with it - 1 bad case was enough
Mature - being modest - but sexy
a role model - I like seeing her friends and family look up to her
There is so much on here that blows my mind because it sounds like some crazy unreachable standards! Okay, so some of them I totally understand but some of these just are ridiculous and seem very stereotypical. Every person is different. Also, with your good in bed/Moral seem to contradict themselves. You want them to be willing to do things YOU lead into right? Well if you lead into sex on the first 3 dates and they do that then YOU set them up for not being "wifey material" even though you initiated it if you decide to sleep together in your set up time frame. Also, I don't have any sort of degree but I am VERY intelligent. I don't need a piece of paper to show that I can hold an intellectual conversation on a wide range of topics ranging from current events, pop culture, literature, politics, and art. As for the haircuts....to me that is ridiculous. It's HAIR. It grows back out! Plus, it should be about the person she is. Don't soley base your feelings on her looks. Looks fade over time BUT the person on the inside lasts forever. Also, some girls don't want to wear a mini dress and heels all the time. I usually prefer jeans, t-shirt or plad button up and my boots. If a man can't find that sexy sometimes he isn't worth MY time.
Now the one that was my breaking point and why I felt totally compelled to comment. Not all girls from divorced parents have "Daddy Issues"! My parents split up when I was 13 and I am fine. My dad and I are actually very close. Same with my mom. I mean I guess I lucked out because after the divorce my parents stayed very good friends. You can't generalize people based on things like this because not all people are the same. Everyone's situation is different. I am not saying don't have standards but some of these were just horribly worded and seem just absurd. If it works for you, great to each his own but I hope to the good lord above there aren't other people with laundry lists like this of standards.
/endrant (sorry I had to say something)
As for the brazilian wax thing that video that keeps coming up is cracking me up at my desk here at work!1 -
In the winter I definately slack on the shaving and just cover up. I tried waxing to see if the hair would grow back in finer, without the blunt shaved end the hair should be thinner. However I did the wax at home and didn't get all the hairs so it didn't quite work out. Also I could not really get my armpits with the wax kit. Right now I'm debating on getting a professional wax and then seeing how it grows in. I've also debated getting a No No but the ratings are so mixed I'm leary to spend the money. But seriously I hate shaving and would like to stop, what a freankin hassel! It doesn't bother me at all if other women don't shave.1

I don't get why people have to be so judgmental over something as mundane as body hair.
The double standard is idiotic. If armpit hair is "gross" or "smelly" on a woman, then obviously it is on a man, too. (In fact, in my experience, it's usually smellier on a man, as men on average seem to sweat more.) Having a preference is one thing, but having your attraction to a woman suddenly evaporate just because you find she doesn't enjoy torturing her skin with a razor is just stupid. Hopefully you're upfront about it so she can know she dodged a bullet. If you're that hung up on body hair, then what other absurd, trite little hangups might you have?

I was trying to come up with a response to this thread, but you beat me to it.
It is so ridiculous to hear someone say "oh, feminists do xyz, so if you are a feminist, you have to do xyz". The whole point of feminism is that women should not be limited in their choices or given less respect because of their gender. Literally. That's the point.
I also laugh when any man (who doesn't shave his own body) says that body hair on women is a hygiene issue, or it's gross. Either it's unhygienic or it's not; it doesn't matter which body it's growing on.
I personally do shave my underarms and epilate my legs, but I realize that it's more of a cultural thing than anything else, and I certainly don't see any reason why women should do it and men get to choose.1 -

If a woman shaves, there's less chance of her hair in your sandwiches.0

Women must shave! Beside the esthetic to keep they are clean on this way

Personally, I find women more attractive when they have shaved armpits or legs.6

This right here should have been the end of this thread.2 -
I get that this is an ancient thread, but c'mon. Why are people still giving a *kitten* about whether a woman shaves or not? Her body, her choice. Get with the program. You don't like it, well.. not your body hair, so stfu.5

What a ridiculous notion that women should be shaved to be attractive. The body hair version of "smile."4
-
Why are there disagrees
If you dont like an unshaven lady thsts your prerogative...just as its ladies choice4 -

I never thought of it that way. True.
Individual preferences are fine whatever, but expecting all women everywhere to mold themselves to one narrow expectation that the women themselves don’t dig is stupid.2 -

Actually, 'You do you' is the way4 -
Also, I’m glad this thread is here. It’s a relief to argue about meaningless *kitten* for awhile.4
