Well... When I started here almost a year ago, my target was 130. I'm 5'5". But over the course of 2014 I learned so much about nutrition and weight training. I found that achieving good form in a particular exercise was quite fulfilling. I also found that lifting heavy has so many more benefits than just getting stronger. My whole shape changed. For the better. ;) I'm now 133, 9 lbs down from when I started but the changes have all been positive. And if I don't reach 130? Meh, it's ok. :)

im 5ft 1 and my initial goal is 130... i need to see how i look from there and then take it as i see it. i may want to drop another 10lbs. ultimately 120lbs puts me in the middle of a normal BMI. 130 is top end.

I know that's heavier than is fashionable, but it's quite literally my "fighting weight" -- the weight at which I was at optimum athletic performance and winning martial arts tournaments.

That, and I've gotten into distance swimming. Not a sport for the very low of body fat if you expect to survive cold water.

I am 6'2". Started at 281. Currently between 217-222 depending on what the scale decides. Goal is 190ish. Anywhere under 200 and I will be happy. My goal used to be 170lbs, but at my height, I don't think it's maintainable for me long term. I like food and muscles too much.

5'1". SW 155. CW 139. Target 115. But that 115 is arbitrary and just a guess, based on where I feel I've managed to be happy and maintain in the past. When I get closer to it, I'll re-evaluate and see how I feel based on strength, measurements and body composition.

    5' 3", currently 117-ish. From a visual estimation, I'm probably 21-22% BF.
Aiming for 20% BF, maybe a touch lower, we'll see. So, my final weight would be somewhere between 114-117. I'm re-comping, so I might drop my %BF that much and not lose any more weight. Or, I might get bored and cut again.

My original goal weight was 122ish, but I have decided to go into maintenance for the time being and see if I can do a little body recomp. I may try to lose a few more pounds in a few months... we'll see!

GW: I was aiming for 145, but 130 would put me just under 20% BF so I'm thinking that instead

I'm 5'6'' and my goal is 150. It's higher than most at my height but for my body and muscle mass I think it'll be ideal.

Goal is 150 or thereabouts. 170 puts me in healthy BMI, so that's where I'm going to re-evaluate.

    Started at 215
    Currently at 206
    Goal Weight 180, then I'll re-*kitten* how I feel.

So all in all, I'm shooting for 35lbs (I'd be content with 30 though)

5'8" currently 169 and very happy but aiming to be in the 150s to 160-ish probably (for maintenance)

My amount might sound high but for reference I was way over 200 lb from the age of 16-36, once hitting 300+. So for me this feels great. I also have a DD chest and enormous hips which I think is another reason I don't aim for a lower weight.

I want to get there and maintain for a while, then go lower if/when I feel comfortable. Maybe 135ish?

    I'm 5' 4."

    I started at 180, am now 163.

I was aiming for 150, but I might try for 127. The last time I weight 127 I was in 7th grade. I just don't know if it's doable for me. When I hit 150, I'll start thinking about what the next step is. :)

Thanks for asking the question -- I'm curious too!

Okay thanks ladies, a big range here!
Are some of you aiming for a clothing size rather than a weight?

I'm about 5' 4.5", I was hoping to get down to 137lb, maybe 130 if I could. But I think at the moment it's a flat stomach and a size I have in mind which I'm hoping is around then.

I am 5'6 1/2. My goal weight is 122lbs before I try to maintaining for a couple of months. That give me a couple of pounds of water weight, etc, I rather not be over 126lbs. My highest weight has been 254lbs and currently at 139.2lbs. I could go down even further on weight but I want to maintain or recomp at maintenance and than eventually do a bulk. I think.

My goal is a moving target. If I had been shooting for my final weight these past eighteen months I would have given up in despair. My next goal is 185 lbs which was my highest weight when I was in my thirties.

I also keep track of NSV's and evidence of greater mobility.

I'm not sure I really have a weight goal, because if I feel good and look good I think I could be happy at a lot of different weights.

That being said, the last time I felt that was at 135 - 140lb this past June. I'm 150 now, and 5'8.5"

I could really see myself rocking a lean 155-160 lb or more, though. I always am envious of the more muscular women at my gym. Not huge, but sculpted and powerful looking.

*TBD, but this is my current "goal". It's toward the higher end of my healthy weight range based on height, but right now it seems pretty mystical since I haven't weighed that since I was probably 12 years old! I also plan on focusing more on body fat % as I lose more. I like the athletic look.

Don't really have one. The weight keeps getting harder to lose, so I figure that at some point it will just get too damn hard and I'll say, "Enough. I'm good here."

All my millions of mini goals and the one thing I haven't settled on is a final number, lol. Still to fat to say!

Right now, 171 is way too fat. I want to get out of the 170s, then I want to get to 165 (halfway through 160s) and the magic 163 (because the 3s mean I won't have to see the next group of ten up again.). My next Big Goal is 150. (Big goals have been 220, 200, 175.) 150 will mark 100 pounds - official pounds, anyway - so that's a more exciting Big Goal than some. :)

    It's enough for now!!

At 150, I'll have a much better idea of where I want to end than I can at 171.
