I will decide when I hit 155 if I want to lose more. Its been 20 years since I was that weight and it was pre kids...my dr thinks somewhere between 145 and 150 with my body frame would be good. We'll see.

I'm 5' 4" tall and my goal is 149 lbs right now. I started at 179 lbs. I was 168 lbs at my last weigh in. I may decide to try for something lower when I get to 149. In the past, I felt my best at 125 lbs- 15 years ago.
My other goals are to have my waist and hips be in the same clothing size, have more stamina and be stronger than I started.

Not totally sure, and I think that's normal and healthy (if I do say so myself!).

I'm 130 now (started at 220, but I wasn't that heavy terribly long), and my initial goal was 120, as I maintained there for several years in my 30s and know it's a weight where I feel good. Now that I'm about 10 lbs away, it seems a decent goal still--I definitely have some fat to lose still to get to my desired body composition and I like to run so being lighter doesn't hurt. A few pounds ago I got all motivated to try to go down farther, but at this point I'm not so sure--it's going to depend on how the next 10 come off; I might prefer to focus on gaining a bit of muscle then instead.

For me the main thing is that I'm not going to completely reach goal, as there will always be some thing to work on--fitness stuff or athletic performance if not weight loss.

    Oh, I'm 5'3.

I am 5'1. I have a range of 125-130. I am currently at the 130 mark so the high range of my goal weight range. I have lost 90 lbs so far. The range give me wiggle room but not so much that my weight will get out of control again. For me I just want to feel strong and well look strong with some muscle definition.

    I'm 5'8

    SW: 212 big size 16 (US 12)
    CW: 171 size 10-12 (US 6-8)
    GW: 165 I guess

I have a small pouch to lose on my lower belly above my C-section scar (although it disappears under my pants) ...it might be a couple of pounds or more

I'm actually happy where I am ..I carry weight well and have an hourglass shape and defined muscles, my body fat % is around 26 so I'm OK being at a BMI of 26...I'm not going to worry if I stick at this weight although I am sticking to a small defecit so we will see

    Initial Target weight 170

At this point I plan on focusing on fitness to lose and re-comp the rest. My best guess would be an additional 10-20lbs to lose, hard to say where exactly I will end up. The number on the scale isn't important to me, fitness/health and enjoying life to the fullest is.

My target is fitness. I have no idea what a skinny/muscular me would weigh. So maybe like 20%bf is a good long term goal. Right now my goal is to complete 100 workouts in 20 weeks, bench 100 lbs, and squat 100 lbs. That way, I'm really celebrating achievements and not discouraged by that shady scale.

I'm 36 & 5'11. Right now I'm 165. I'd like to get to 157 and this time STAY THERE. In 2012 I lost 45 lbs getting me to 143. I was too thin (so thin my boyfriend asked me to put on 10 pounds), but I went a bit beyond (When a formally fat person gets told to put on weight you take it as a "game on" situation and it got a bit out of control). Maintaining for me is VERY hard. Losing is pretty easy.

For most 165 & 5'11 is totally acceptable, but I like to be in a solid size 8. I'm less puffy at 157 and I feel like me. Right now I just don't feel RIGHT.

I'm 5'6 and I'd be happy to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 154lbs. It sounds high, but at that weight I'm a UK size 10/12 (US 6/8) and everyone thinks I'm about 15lbs lighter than I am. (See my profile pic in the blue and white dress).

Once I get back to that weight I might aim to lose a few more lbs.

I wasn't born a woman so my frame carries fat differently. 170 is the point at which my hips will be wider than my belly, which I regard for myself as a vain goal with a lot of positive, healthy side effects.

..I'm not 100% sure of my goal weight, though. I felt best before at 125-130. I felt I looked too thin at 110. However, I've had a child and my body is different. I also plan on strength training and expect my body to change because of that as well. So the number is up in the air. I want to be fit, decrease fat, and hopefully tighten my tummy in the process. Whatever weight gets me that..

My original goal was 154, or the top of the healthy weight range for my height. Then once I hit that it was 150 because it's a nice round number. Now it is 140/22% bf.

I also have a question. I accidentally messed up my goal weight settings, it was originally 75, but now the slider thing won't allow me to go lower than 98. When I set the 75 as goal weight, that was when I first joined MFP and was on a smartphone. Any ideas as to what I can do to fix it?

Are you talking kilograms or pounds?

Assuming kilograms, you can change your goals by going into "goals" from the home menu. Make sure you're set to metric in order to be measuring by the right scale, since it looks like you're set to pounds right now.

(If you do mean 75 pounds, I'd refer you to a therapist to get urgent help for an eating disorder.)

I had originally selected 160 for a goal weight because it was what I weighed when I met my husband. I am currently the weight I was when we got married, but am only 1 size larger than I was when we met, and that size is loose on me. When I started losing weight, I never gave any thought to body fat, but now I am thinking about worrying less about the end weight I reach, and focus on body fat instead. I am wanting to get to 23% body fat. Whatever number I end up with on the scale to get to that is where I end up at.

I'm 5'6", and I would be happy at 140. I would LOVE to be at 135, but I'm not sure if I could maintain that. I'm currently at about 177.

I'm not focused on reaching a specific weight, it will be more how I look/feel at that point.

Okay thanks ladies, a big range here!
Are some of you aiming for a clothing size rather than a weight?

not so much, honestly. I am wearing size 10 and juniors 11, and I fully expected to wear around a size 14 or MAYBE 12 by the time I was at this weight. So the idea that I could possibly be wearing an 8 or 9 someday is just weird to me and not really a goal at all. Not bad, just not a goal.

5'0", and my non-pregnant weight range is anywhere from 104-112. That's my window. Any weight outside that, I start feeling uncomfortable and don't look my best.

I'm 5'4 and my highest weight was around 148. That was too thick and squishy for me. When I am at 140 I feel fine. But since I keep creeping back up, this time around I'm shooting for 130 - 135. I'm 49 years old and feel like I don't want to be a skinny old lady!
