Note that it was Hobbes who persuaded Calvin to apologize...

I think Calvin is the secret inner child in ALL of us, male or female, that says, "No WAY are you 'adulting' today!" Hobbes is the inner feline that doubles down on that "not-adulting-today" vibe while being completely philosophical about it, rationalizing everything.

I like to think I'm right sometimes, Uncle Mac. ;-) You can just call me Kat, by the way. And yes, I absolutely adore Hobbes. ;-) But I don't ever remember having a stuffed tiger as a kid. LOTS of stuffed animals, many of them bears, but no tiger. *sighs* That said, at 38 years of age, I am now *finally* enrolled in a Tae Kwon Do club (as of this past January)...and the mascot? Yup. A tiger. Rawr!!!! ;-)

Every kid should have their own personal tiger. A tigered society is a polite society. LOL

I haven't done martial arts for several years. I started off in Shotokan karate and moved to Gōjū-ryū. I've also had some exposure to kickboxing, Jujitsu and Escrima. At one point, I tried out a Taekwondo club but I did not enjoy the instruction style of the chief instructor so I didn't stick around.
