Welcome BAAAAAACK!!! ((((Hobbes Hug with somersault)))) We've missed you!
And yes, like Calvin, I don't like being good either. Funny, the thermostat one reminds me of being at my mom's for the past 4 days...brrr, it was cold there (however, I WAS able to adjust her thermostat without her knowing...not hard to get one over on your 83 yo mom...but in my defense, she was complaining about being cold too, so I was helping her!).3 -

I beg to differ Mac...my parents had their thermometer set to 73 (so hot for me and most of the company they had). Everytime I walked passed the thermostat, she would come to see if I was adjusting it. It's very hard to get one over on my 84 yo mum.2 -
Heh... my 77 year old mother complained that my 79 year old father was forever turning the thermostat down to save power. He didn't say a word... but as the cool of night approached, he put a fire in the wood furnace so the heat pump "didn't have to work so hard."3

One page at a time, Calvin... you've got a great tale to tell...

If Calvin is supposed to be a six year old, clearly he must be in a gifted class. I could read by age six but I wasn't writing book reports...

Terrible personal story... I have siblings and our youngest sister is the only child who has blonde hair and blue eyes. Dad is bald but before the follicles emptied, he was very blonde. Anyway, being typical cruel children, we teased our sister by telling her that she was adopted... repeatedly... for years...
So we probably shouldn't have been surprised when she turned into a horrid angsty teenager. Things came to a head when she got into a raging fight with Mom and dropped the "You treat me different because I'm adopted!"
Is there a polite way to say "the defecation hit the fan"?
