    Welcome BAAAAAACK!!! ((((Hobbes Hug with somersault)))) We've missed you!

    And yes, like Calvin, I don't like being good either. Funny, the thermostat one reminds me of being at my mom's for the past 4 days...brrr, it was cold there (however, I WAS able to adjust her thermostat without her knowing...not hard to get one over on your 83 yo mom...but in my defense, she was complaining about being cold too, so I was helping her!).

    I beg to differ Mac...my parents had their thermometer set to 73 (so hot for me and most of the company they had). Everytime I walked passed the thermostat, she would come to see if I was adjusting it. It's very hard to get one over on my 84 yo mum. :(

    Heh... my 77 year old mother complained that my 79 year old father was forever turning the thermostat down to save power. He didn't say a word... but as the cool of night approached, he put a fire in the wood furnace so the heat pump "didn't have to work so hard."

    LOL. I think it is something that is ingrained in "parents".

    Lol...@UncleMac, your folks sound like mine when my Dad was still alive...he'd just keep his mouth shut and do what he needed to do. Boy, I do miss him! :/

    @sdereski - too funny!

    @b3achy, after 57 years of marriage, I guess my father has figured out that trying to argue with my mother isn't a winning strategy. Let my mother argue instead with the fire in the wood furnace... lol

    Sometimes nagging works but not always... right, Calvin?

    If Calvin is supposed to be a six year old, clearly he must be in a gifted class. I could read by age six but I wasn't writing book reports...
