I can see Hobbes in a tux with striped tail...

Hmm, I'm thinking I need to get a Hobbes doll and put a black tie on him to bring him as my date to the next formal event I go to...would be better than going alone, like usual...

I don't know how to crochet and when I ask my sisters who all do crochet, they suggested I learn...

You could fashion 1, via duct type; yourself!

Thanks @UncleMac - sadly I only know how to crochet granny square blankets, though I have done a few freehand scarves. Never tried to follow a pattern before. Might be a good project to attempt...at some point.

That is about the same level of understanding and compassion I got from my sisters. Explain to me again how women are the gentle & caring ones while we men supposedly lack such refinement? LOL

I meant it as a suggestion, not an insult; since men're pretty good with using duct tape & your Sisters' refuse to, create 1 for you; so that at least you've 1!

    Like cufflinks?

A mandibled society is a polite society?

Oh dear, cufflinks are rarely optional...they are the finishing touch to an otherwise classy outfit.

Well, since I lack in beguiling feminine charms, I'm afraid I lean toward having my own mandibles of death...which is why any additional ones are optional.

I'm afraid my lack of stylistic acumen shows. My classy outfit doesn't have cufflinks but it's not lessened by this.
