I heard back from Lenny & Larry. I'm on my tablet so, in a nutshell, if the email address provided when signing up didn't match the Facebook email address they used when reaching out, the order was automatically cancelled.
I got that email too. It makes sense though, if that link was only supposed to be used for a giveaway.0 -
This didn't live up to my expectations. The plum ice cream didn't taste like plum at all. It was yummy if there was a jam swirl in the bite, but really bland if there wasn't. And the sugar cookie bits didn't taste like sugar cookie, more like pie crust. Bummer.

Not bad. Average cookies and cream ice cream, the cone is good though, just a bit soggy. The last bite is chocolate deliciousness though (with a semi crispy cone at the bottom). To be fair, I do like Oreos but it's not my favorite ice cream flavor.1 -

Looking on Birds Eye website for an image I found this

These are really good and apparently they have a salted caramel one as well. They get rid of that chocolate craving!1

I got an email from Lenny and Larry explaining that they cancelled it due to the email. But, they said to respond to the email with my Facebook email and they will fix it.
Either they got a lot of complaints and are trying to quietly rectify what wasn't real all along, or they really did mess up with cancelling the order. We'll see what happens next!2 -

They said the same thing to me so I just messaged them on facebook and asked if I could be added and still get a sample and they said of course so got my order reinstated. I suggest everyone else message them on facebook too and be like "hey why was I not on the list? Can I please get a sample too? It was not very nice to think I was getting a sample and have my order canceled." and mention how sad it made you LOL.4 -

Hah! I just replied to the email customer service sent (I don't really do facebook) and thanked them for the override and people said good things about their products and I was looking forward to trying them.4 -

Ooo, thanks! I filled out the form for their offer. Can't wait for my free cookies!
They cancelled my order and didn't email me I'd suggest everyone who did the free sample cookie thing check and see if theirs cancelled too. I'm super disappointed that they would do this instead of closing the offer in the first place.
Mine was cancelled too0 -

You guys are lucky! I sent them a message on Facebook and got this:
"Hello there,
Thank you for your interest in Lenny & Larry's! A few weeks ago, we randomly selected a panel of our Facebook fans to try our cookies after we made some yummy improvements and asked them not to share the link with anyone else. Unfortunately, your email address did not match any on our pre-selected list so we had to cancel your recent order for the free sample pack. We apologize for any confusion and would like to send you a 20% discount code for your next order with us!"

Honestly, I'm most excited about those marvelous Golden Oreo O's than anything! I have a jar of Kraft Jet-Puffed Mini Marshmallows which are like the freeze dried marshmallow pieces in cereal (sold by hot cocoa, although it dissolves way too fast and is useless in hot liquids so I always use it for cereal) and I'm dying to use it in this!
Please provide reviews ASAP! The peanut butter cocoa pebbles sounds great, too, but I don't know... you all talked me into splurging on those peanut butter chocolate blasted shreds so I have a hard time believing anything could live up to the peanut butter-y standards that one sets!3 -

Lenny and Larry sent me the same email. That's bull.3

That L&L was sketchy. Why make a page on your website if you're only giving it to select people on Facebook? They could have required a special code or just contacted the winners directly on Facebook for their mailing address.2

It's L&L's fault for asking people to make an account to get free samples, but it's also the fault of whoever shared a link that was supposed to be private. Honestly, had I known it was the case, I would never have asked for the free sample in the first place, because it's not the right thing to do.3 -
I am not happy about the whole situation and the way they dealt with it. I actually DID get it in my email from them. All it said was "we want you back, try out free samples no shipping" and the link was below. Nothing about "you are only a select few people who got this email and you must use this email to claim and don't share with anyone else". They canceled my order because I didn't use the same email it came to. I still think that is very weird and selective that they would offer samples only to select few people like that and completely deny anyone else. Not very good business practices and I've been turned off them as a company.4

AWFUL!!! Oh man, so bad. I couldn't even force myself to eat it. I was going to finish it just because I'd paid for it, but I literally spit it in the trash. I just couldn't do it. It tasted so "fake". I can't even explain what the flavor was like, but it's no birthday cake I've ever had! It even tasted OLD, if that even makes sense. Just... don't do it! lol
However, they have an "Almond Bliss" flavor that I actually DID like. It is very much like an almond joy with less of a sugary taste. I would for sure buy it again.6 -

Wait...what? Why would a company offer free samples to folks who are subscribed to their page, who most likely have tried their products and liked them enough to like the page? Wouldn't you want to give samples to folks that haven't tried your stuff?
And, if that's really what a company wants to do, perhaps have those "select few" comment underneath the post to enter, and not send a shareable email? Wow, this was handled badly...

Exactly, it makes no sense. And then to deny requests when people ask them? AND the link is still working.. says nothing about being select few. https://www.lennylarry.com/free-sample-pack/?utm_source=EMAIL
It isn't like they even said you are a select few or not to share in the email, it just said we made some changes and want you back try some samples for free....
And then to deny people who haven't tried their products get samples? Seems like they have some dumb marketing reps working for them, lol.3 -
Not new, but have never had any of these flavors before. I didn't really think they were that good. The fruit and nut ones were better, but I don't really like coconut flakes in my bars unless it is paired with chocolate. They were all just mediocre bars, nothing I would recommend or buy again.
The fruit and nut chocolate cherry was the best tasting. The rest were pretty boring. They were a nice size for only 150-160 calories though, especially the chocolate raspberry. The flavor was okay, but the texture was like a stale rice krispy. Would much rather have any other type of bar.3 -
I don't know if they've been mentioned (not going through ~700 pages! ) or how new they are; BUT, Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt bars are delicious. I've had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Sea Salt Caramel & Mint Chip so far. The caramel had that tang that greek yogurt has, which was a little weird for something that looked & felt like an ice cream bar, but its still good. My only complaint is that a box only has 4. Each bar is 100 cals. I like to take my time with popsicles, so they take a few minutes to finish off even though they're not huge. The box advertises pints too, but my grocery store doesn't have them. They satisfy my ice cream cravings way better than Halo Top. I would never be satisfied with a 100 cal serving of ice cream, but these are perfect.1
