It's a great way to test the market, and since they already have great shelf real estate they are able to rotate flavors in a number of stores. The flavors that don't sell well they can recycle and use in their scoop shops (which are growing nationwide soon). A lot going on with that company, I tell ya!
I'm still hoping for a cotton candy flavor... or orange cream... or root beer... or key lime. Next flavor will probably be something fallish?
I really hope they bring back the gingerbread house, I had a pint last night that was in my stockpile and now I want more! But as for cotton candy, I’ll be pretty upset if they make that seasonal... it needs to be a permanent addition!
Another flavor that’s wishful thinking is an exotic one like the green tea mochi, but instead a taro bubble tea flavor. I LOVE taro! And it’s cute so some people might be attracted to the fact that it’s purple and not too many other ice creams are!
Side note: taro also tastes delicious with marshmallow creams or white chocolate swirls. I made taro white chocolate chip sugar cookies once and everyone in my house (and office) loved them!!!
@hgycta you seriously need to look up if you have any Grocery Outlets in your vicinity!
After you posted about missing the Gingerbread flavor I was wondering if Grocery Outlet would ever get this flavor or any Halo Top that's near expiration. Lo & behold I went into a Grocery Outlet this afternoon & they had Gingerbread House for $1.99 a pint. I wiped that store out (around 10-11 pints) & then went to another one.2 -
My afternoon snack is deee-licious!

Found both at Target! Thanks again to whoever posted the free Sweet Earth coupon.
Also bought some of the new Archer Farms ice creams & the Pinata flavor from the Museum Of Ice Cream company.
Will probably try the Quest pizza tomorrow for lunch/dinner.3 -

Yeah. Thy're okay... just whipped air haha. Flavor isn't too strong. At the bottom of my list (well, better than Wink... haha)2 -

With all of the store brands that are coming out for 'healthier, low calorie ice creams' I still can't believe Walmart hasn't jumped on the bandwagon yet.0 -

I could be wrong, but I think Halo Top has a contract with Walmart.1 -

The closest one is 50 minutes away in an area I never drive to because it's mostly farmland and literally nothing else nearby I definitely saw a couple pints the other day, but I can't remember which store it was at and I'm going crazy trying to remember!!!0 -

I tried the Piñata icecream. Not that good, in my opinion. The flavor was okay, very sweet, but nothing amazing. I prefer other pints much more.2 -

That would probably explain why they don’t sell Enlightened ice cream or Arctic Zero’s Light Ice Cream pints, they probably get away with the other Arctic Zero pints because they’re “frozen dairy desserts” and not ice cream!2 -

I know this was the case with Whole Foods (select regions) and Publix at first.1 -
Enlightened recently rebranded their marshmallow bars under a new name — cloud10. What do you think? (Before vs. after)2 -

Unless they also changed their formula, it makes no difference to me.2 -

If they still taste the same (hard and not very good) who cares what they are called? Lol. If I didn’t know they were the same I like the new name better though. Sounds more interesting and delicious, but I know better.2 -

I had Sweet Earth veggie lovers pizza for dinner tonight and I loved it. I thought brussel sprouts would be hard, but they were not. I would buy this one again. My husband had the pepperoni one so I tried it and I did not like it. It had a weird taste.0

Went to Target the other day and got to try the new Archer Farms Mini Donut ice cream. All in all I wasn't super impressed. My first taste was almost... boozy? I'm usually not one to be bothered by the flavor of artificial sweeteners, but the erythritol in this was STRONG and it came out in the first bite. It tamed down a bit as I ate it, but overall the pint was lackluster. I thought the cinnamon flavor would be stronger, but it was really mild and barely noticeable over the taste of the sugar alcohols. The "donut pieces" were more like cereal bits. They were crunchy, which I wasn't expecting at all. Not really donut-y at all, in my opinion. I probably won't be getting this one again.

I found the new archer farms protein ice creams and quest pizzas today! Bought one of each flavor of ice cream except the cookie dough (OOS) , and one pepperoni and cheese quest pizza; bummed my target didn’t have the supreme yet
Do NOT sleep on the archer ice cream you guys! I tried the chocolate peanut butter and mini donut tonight. I’m a peanut butter snob, and archer farms crushed halo top AND enlightened for the chocolate peanut butter!! SO GOOD!! Peanut butter swirls all throughout, and no bitterness to the chocolate base. The mini donut base was delicious, and there was quite a good amount of donut mix ins. The texture of both pints was wayyyyy creamier than halo top in my opinion, and less dense than enlightened. These are the closest to real ice cream via the protein ice cream phase I have tried so far- RUN to every target if you have to, but get these; you won’t regret it.4 -

The Pinata ice cream was so boring! Mostly it just tasted like vanilla ice cream with chunks of either the iced animal cookies or the frosted cupcake bites. I barely noticed any cotton candy fizzy pieces.
I also tried the Archer Farms Mini Donut & didn't particularly care for this one either. I felt this ice cream was a mix of a poor man's take on Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Buns ice cream & cinnamon toast crunch cereal. At times this ice cream tasted like drinking the leftover milk from a cereal bowl.
All this ice cream made me do was miss Sam's Choice Coffee & Donuts.2 -

Anyone try this yet?2 -
Saw this. I remember I really liked the taco flavor last year. I would like to try the Chili con Queso but if it only available in the region it was inspired by, I doubt I will see it here.
Attention, snack lovers: Lay’s is about to release eight new potato chip flavors—the most the brand has ever released at one time.
In an effort to showcase different local cuisines from across the country, the Lay’s new “Tastes of America” flavors are inspired by popular regional dishes: Cajun Spice, Chili con Queso, Chesapeake Crab Bay Spice, Deep Dish Pizza, Fried Pickles with Ranch, New England Lobster Roll, Pimento Cheese, and Sweet Thai Chili.
The new bags will hit grocery stores beginning on July 30 and will be available until September 23, but will only be available in the region where the flavor was inspired by.1
