That in itself is a success, I couldn't get past the first week of Insanity. You already seem to possess determination and consistency you'll complete it!

Thanks! I've attempted it many times before, and the farthest I've made it was day 23 out of 63, so I'm really close to passing that. I just wish i could lose something!

@megannxx Don't give up! Remember that in addition to kicking butt, you are also building muscle - and fatigued muscle holds on to water to try to recoup. Keep drinking LOTS of water and keep pushing! I bet you'll see the results soon.

Loss/gain for the month so far:

Struggles of week 1: Sugar, Bread, and Dinner. Cooking for the family leads me to sabotage myself at times.

Success of week 1: *Gym membership*, Seeing the number go down on the scale ( TOM was here last week). I know 3 or 4 pounds are probably water weight but I'm still excited about it.

Goal for week 2: Keep the scale moving downward, better dinner choices and tweak gym routine.

@yaafee Thanks! I'm trying not to! I really want to complete it! I give up on things way too often! I drink roughly 10-15 cups of water daily, So I'm hoping thats helping a bit. I have noticed that my balance is a little better! So that is a plus! I'm hoping I'll see results soon. Thank you!

Struggles or success of the your week: snacking is my biggest temptation, especially at night or at work when folks bring in all the cookies and cake etc. I did munch on carrots last week at work, it wasn't as satisfying but I felt better about my choice.

Struggles or successes of your week: I went way over my calorie goal on Friday when we went out to eat. It's so hard to not eat all the amazing food here in Europe, which is exactly how I ended up gaining so much to begin with. Still, I lost weight this week so I'm happy.

My sister was in town this weekend and I banked calories at the beginning of the week so I could eat more this weekend. Ended up not eating out much and 500+ calories under my goal for the week. Now the question is, do I splurge today or take that 1/7 th of a pound loss on the scale.... ;)

Struggles or successes of your week:
I went to the gym more than one day a week for the first time in probably close to two years. Went 5 times!

There are a lot of temptations at work. In one week: 3 days of cake, 1 day of 5 cheesecakes, 3 days of cookies, 1 day of pizza and beer, 2 days of lunch foods (steak, sandwiches, etc). I indulged in a small piece of King Cake and 1 cookie. Really trying to avoid the free food all together.

Also, going out is a huge struggle. I did really well limiting my alcohol intake this weekend though.
