Struggles or successes of your week: feeling great, also very happy to see solid losses on the scale despite a couple of Friday's where I felt like I ate stuff I shouldn't have. First time I received a "hey, have you been losing weight?" Comment from a friend. On to week 4!

Struggles or successes of your week: I had a pretty rough week for willpower and had 8000 calorie days for 3 days out of the previous week. I know it is majorly water weight and i should still be around 170 but considering my birthday is this weekend, i know this is going to be the average for the last week of feb also. It was a good challenge overall and I am glad i was able to lose some proper body fat. The numbers on the scale are only a tiny part of the big picture. Hoping March comes with better results. Will still aim to eat well till Thursday and possibly update my weight then before i go ham again (I jump easily by 5 - 8 pounds after cheat days).

Hang in there Robert!! Oh, and Happy Birthday!

Hi Dana! I like veggie omelets, and they're very easy to make. Use whatever veggies you like. I always try to use colorful vegs like red peppers, spinach, broccoli, etc. Saute the veggies first, turn the heat down, pour the beaten egg over them, then cover. It won't take long for it to set. Add lite cheese, salsa, fresh herbs, etc. Really good!

I will try that this week. I am currently having low cal jam and riveta crisp bread or melba toast in the morning and getting very bored of it now.

    2/15: 197.8
    2/22: 195.6
    2/28:

    Loss/gain for the week: -2.2
Loss/gain for the month so far: -8.0

Struggles: On the 21st & 22nd I was just plain too tired (lack of sleep) to do the required exercise cycle work and had a net calorie excess on those 2 days of a combined 1,239 calories. I gained 1.4 pounds as a result. Nope - I don't hate myself for that; and, I'm not down on myself. At 69 years old I'll allow myself to get tired - but just once in a while.

Success: I've logged in 61 days in a row since starting and have lost an even 20.0 lbs since 12/27/14. When I started my goal was 190 pounds; but, as I go along I think I'll revise the goal to 185 pounds by the end of March and see what happens after that.

Struggles: Stress and lack of eating due to too much work/not enough time during the work day. Lunch quickly became an extra half hour to use to catch up on orders and things I missed.

Successes: Not really any this week.

Struggles or successes of your week: Well, it turns out my last two weeks of being sick isn't going away soon. I have pneumonia. Makes it hard to breathe walking, much less working out. Hoping I can get on the mend and start exercising next week. We have a brand new aquatic center opening on Monday. My goal is to get well enough to get there a few times next week.

Also struggling to eat enough. Trying to get my 1200 calories a day of healthy foods and drinking lots of water. Just hard. Seems like at the endof the day I'm trying to eat 400 calories! Right before bed! Totally backwards! Looking forward to "normalcy"!

Real honestly, I wouldn't worry too much about exercise and counting calories during a bout with pneumonia. I would worry about eating healthy foods that satisfy your hunger and getting over the pneumonia 100%. Then, get to the aquatic center, eat the 1200 calories (mostly healthy, of course) and get back to losing weight. Good luck with your recovery.

I was kind of bad because I didn't update my progress here, but I was good because I did work hard and achieved my goal :)

    2/1: 171 lb

    2/22: didn't weigh

So happy. I was this weight 3 years ago. Everything fits from 3-4 years ago, and the 20.5 lbs weight loss is very noticeable.

I joined this group because it's my 40th at the end of February and there were lots of dinners and nights out coming up. I wanted to enjoy them, be on track in between and see if I could maintain my weight. Losing anything was going to be a bonus. I'm really pleased to have lost 5lbs this month, after this weekend everything settles back to normal and so I can continue on from here, well done to everyone who has lost weight and good luck with your continued journeys!

Successes: I felt stupid on the weird new type of stair stepper my gym has so I stepped off it. But istead of walking away I YouTube'd the proper way to use it and finished what I wanted to do.

Struggles: I binged like a mooffo over the weekend after I weighed in last week, so I bounced back up to a bloated 232 by Monday. I spent all week fighting cravings trying to stay within any deficit at all. Oops. :P

Oh well! ~10 lbs in the shortest month is good. =]
