Struggles/successes this week: success in keeping up with the excercise which must be paying off as had a christening at the start of the week with buffet food that i didn't even want to try to begin counting calories on, decided best just not to try working it out. Also got fed 'very well' at my mums house yesterday so that may have had an effect on this mornings reading on the scales. Very happy with the loss though.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: Got my Feb goal early, which is good. Also cooked a lot of really nice things and made a monthly food plan. Struggles: sitting on my bum writing an essay a lot of the time. It's been rubbish.

I've been eating at or just under maintenance all week, so the numbers on the scale aren't surprising, especially considering that yesterday I realized if I add salt to my food I can actually taste it! Struggle - Busy, busy (and all of those steps and weighing food and all take time)! Yesterday, I woke up thinking that I would get a bunch done on a project... Then, I though I'd better get a bunch of steps in first... Next thing I knew, it was mid-afternoon -- and I never did sit down to work on my project!
So, yeah: The days seem much shorter.
Success - It's doing the weather thing, here. 30 degrees and snowing, by noon... Still, I got out there, and went for a nice, brisk walk along the river.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: I am joining a week late! Have been a MFP member for almost 4 years- lost 28 lbs. but have been slowly gaining them back in the last 6 months. Need help and motivation!!!
My weight of 145.2 on the 1st was actually a lower than normal reading - my weight has been fluctuating in the 146 range. Regardless, didn't lose any weight this past week. Just started the challenge yesterday so hopefully this week will be better!!

Note: I bought a new scale (Fitbit Aria) on Feb 9, which added about 3 lbs to my weight. I'm guessing it's more accurate, so I'm sticking with it. But it looks like the easy loss has slowed and I'm hovering around 196. I'm not sure why because I've been very active and have a big calorie deficit most days, but I hope to be able to report some more loss by the end of the month. 194 is where my BMI moves into the "healthy" range, so even if 188 is no longer a realistic goal, at least I should be able to get down below 194 this week.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: Just in general, I have had a lot of visitors in February and I have been able to keep my diet spot on instead of getting sidetracked. I also had two of the best runs this week and I was really able to step up my tempo and it was amazing! Weight loss is starting to really slow down now that I am getting closer to my goal weight. I was really really hoping to keep losing ~5 pounds a month, but it looks like I probably won't be able to do that anymore. I have another 10-18 pounds or so. But I may have to switch to weighing only once a week instead of every day.0 -

The weather has kept me from getting outside to train for my next race- which is a 7K (more than I have run continuously ever) and it has hills. Success/struggle this week: Feeling pretty disappointed in myself this week. Continued the trend of eating and drinking everything but decided to add not exercising enough to the mix. I made chicken and dumplings and went back for seconds and thirds. Let's leave the massaman curry out of this, shall we? I continue to log every day so despite planning crap meals I didn't quit altogether. I already signed up for ski classes again so guaranteed burn!
My goal's in reach for the month and I am the only one who can do the work!

Everything that could go bad, went bad this week. Things in my life started to depress me starting Tuesday February 17, 2015. A combination of binge eating 3500 cal a day + to depressed to go to the gym has resulted in a 4 pound gain this week.
I have no idea how I am going to get my motivation back. As of right now I am doubtful I will drop to 147 lbs by next Sunday.
