To the people who have gained weight and/or lost motivation, keep going!! You CAN do this, just pick yourself up, brush yourself off, and start over :) Don't let setbacks defeat you. We are here for you, and we KNOW you can do this! Just keep logging, own the bad days - they happen! Learn what your triggers are, and find new ways to cope. For example, I'm really sick with a virus right now, and I just want to eat everything! So I made a vegetable soup, with lots of water, and ate a ton! But it was low calorie.

If you are craving junk because of stress, are there other ways you could deal with the stress? Go for a walk? Read motivational threads? Watch happy videos on youtube? A few setbacks are nothing compared to the strength you are gaining by trying again! If you are able to, can you set yourself up with a reward for getting back on track? Signing up for a race, or buying a plant for the summer (fruit trees are my motivation), or a trip somewhere? Call a friend or have a healthy potluck (with people who make you happy) so you don't feel so alone. When you KNOW better, you can DO better, so face your trials and develop the skills to deal with them. It IS possible, and it WILL get easier! *hugs*

Struggles/successes this week: This week I had a cold and had very poor sleep for three nights. But despite that, I still managed to get in my workouts. I think without the exercise I would have gained or stayed the same. I'm hoping that I'll hit my month goal at the end of the week!

Struggles: Trying to cut down on my skinny cow ice cream from every day to every other day. I'm such an ice-cream-oholic.

Successes: Went to a clothes store with a friend so she could get a new top. I could never fit into their clothes, so I just end up wandering around. This time, I found a pair of jeans I loved. I tried them on just to see where I was size wise... ended up walking out of there with 2 new pairs of jeans! I'm actually excited to try on clothes now. :)

Struggles/successes this week: I've been fighting a sinus infection this week, and alot of stress at work. I had to force myself to get in a workout most days when all I wanted to do was lay on the couch. I've realized that the exercise does tend to give me more energy, and it's just a matter of just doing it.
    Onward!

Not sure why the scale is going up :(

Samantha I wouldn't sweat it! As disheartening as it is our bodies fluctuate with water as we confuse it by changing things up! You're going to be fine next week! Knuckle down and stay the course! Great job on your efforts!

    2/22: 166.4
    2/28:

    Loss/gain for the week: -2.6!
Loss/gain for the month so far: -6.6 lbs!!!

Struggles or successes of your week:
Honestly, I couldn't believe the scale this morning. I had stayed at 169 all week then was down 2.6 lbs this morning! I haven't been able to exercise this week because of the weather delaying school and work, so I've just been relying on diet, which has honestly been a little over 1200 calories this week. I'm happy, though!!!

Goal weight (1st March): 57 kg (125.7 lbs)

    Weigh ins:

    1st Feb: 58.4 kg (128.75 lbs)
    8th Feb: 57.7 kg (127.2 lbs)
    16th Feb: 57.1 kg (125.9 lbs)*
    22nd Feb:56.2 kg (123.9 lbs)*
    1st March:
*I couldn't weight myself on Sunday morning because I wasn't home.

Weight loss/gain this week: -0.9 kg (-2 lbs)
Weight loss/gain so far this month: -2.2 kg (-4.85 lbs)

Struggles/successes this week: Working out didn't go as planned, but I was still much more active than I was last couple of weeks. I also had one day when I went over my calorie goal for a few hundreds of calories, but I guess at the end of week I still managed to stay close to weekly goal. I experienced a big weight loss this week and I am not sure what is the reason- it could be just weight fluctuations or I really overestimated the calories in meals which I had at my parents' over the weekend. The good thing is that I reached my goal weight for this month early. I actually don't plan on losing much more- my first big goal was 56 kg, I'm thinking of maybe losing another 1-2 kg, but my main goal in the future will be improving my fitness and ratio between muscles and body fat.

Goal weight (1st March): 195lbs (just to get below 14 stone would make my year)

    Weigh ins:

    1st Feb: 202
    8th Feb: 199
    15th Feb: 197
    22nd Feb: 195
    1st March:

Weight loss/gain this week: 2lbs loss
Weight loss/gain so far this month: 7lbs loss

Successes this week: I reached my goal weight! I need to be careful now as its TOM end of the week and I don't want the scale creeping up just because of that.
Struggles this week: Two nights out this weekend means I went a bit carb crazy. Luckily it didn't seem to have any lasting effect but I need to stop drinking then getting peckish and eating the wrong food. Thats my goal next month.
