Struggles/successes this week: Even through fighting a hideous cold I was able to meet my monthly goal and beyond. I love these challenge groups, really helps me keep my main weight loss goal in check. Only 40 lbs to go!

Struggles/successes this week: I was really determined to hit my goal this week. I made it below 160, so I am extremely pleased! Even though I did a bunch of baking and went out to dinner with friends last night, I was very focused with my working out! I'm looking forward to the March Challenge to keep me on track. Now that I am nearing the last few pounds, it's getting harder to lose the weight and to stay focused.0 -

Note: I bought a new scale (Fitbit Aria) on Feb 9, which added about 3 lbs to my weight, so maybe I lost 8.7 this month, so I still didn't hit my goal, but it gives me a more realistic idea of what to expect for March.
Biggest Challenges: some days lacking motivation, willing to accept my current condition because it's so much better than where I was. But I'm still above my BMI "healthy" weight.
Biggest Successes: really feeling fitter. Able to do more. Able to wear clothes that I haven't worn for two years, or which just didn't fit comfortably.

I took a little break this week and wasn't as careful as usual with counting calories. During the week I still stayed close to my limit but over the weekend I ate well over it, probably somewhere between 2500 and 3000 calories. So, a little gain was expected - I'm actually surprised it wasn't bigger.
All in all, I'm happy with this month's results - I lost even more than I was hoping for. Now I'm ready for new challenges. In March I plan to work on my fitness and including more fresh vegetables and fruit in my diet, I also hope to lose some more weight, but primarily my goal is to get a bit more muscle definition and lose some fat.0 -

Struggles/successes this week: Ugh!! I'm retaining so much water right now. At the risk of TMI, my husband and I are going through some fertility treatments at the moment. The injections I take always cause a 3-6lbs weight gain in the middle of my cycle that usually goes away in a couple of weeks. True to form, I began gaining 1-1.5lbs/day starting at the beginning of this week. That makes it incredibly difficult to determine how much weight loss I had this month. I weighed in at 233.6 on Sunday, but I know that at least 3 of those lbs are water. I'm just going to use the last true weight, which was 231.2 and call this month a 4.6 loss. I'm happy with that.

Well, Valentine's Day weekend definitely screwed me up and I spent the next week making up for it. I was sick the all last week and wasn't able to work out, but made sure I stayed under my calorie limit. I'm only down less than 3 pounds for the month, but at least it's a loss! I'm finishing Les Mills combat this week and I'm excited to see my results and I'm going to work for an even bigger loss for March!0 -
