    Not sure where so many of you Canadian bashing people live, but without Canada we wouldn't have TD Bank, MAC cosmetics, Lululemon, Blackberry, Unibroue, Tim Horton's, great hockey competition, Captain Kirk, John Candy, Eugene Levy (thousands of more comedians and actors), Rush, etc... The list can go on and on and on and on.
    But then you had to send us Justin Bieber and ruin it all.

    My daughter performed in a dance festival and one of the other groups did their dance to that Friday song (sung by some other group). My husband and I were trying so hard not to laugh, but laughter kept slipping out. It was tough. We didn't want anyone to think we were laughing at the cute dancing kids (that were doing great). We just couldn't understand why they chose that song. Who would do that to kids!!!

    I have a weird sensation rising from within, perhaps anger at the thought you would delete friends because we are Canadian. But, I know my manners, and I remember that we are a polite, welcoming, non-agressive, non-confrontational country, and so I say Thank You for your honesty and for giving those friends a chance. I apologize about the sticky keyboard, and possible grease stains from the poutine. Please let us make it up to you by sending you some Tim Horton's coffee, ketchup chips, *real* Smarties and some copies of our currency so you can have a good laugh.

    You all know how Canada got it's name, right? Many many moons ago when Canada was just a huge no named land to the North of the USA the politicians decided it was time for an official name. The Prime Minister at the time, let's just call him Peter Poutine for this story, was called upon to pick three letters from the alphabet out of a hat and those three letters would make up the name of this wonderful country. Here's how it went in order of letters;

    1) C - Eh?
    2) N - Eh?
    3) D - Eh?

    And that's how Canada got it's name.
