Thanks! I decided not to do both a weights and cardio workout and I was fine. I just went for a walk after until I reached my 10k steps. I may have been overdoing it. I have a tendency to do that.0 -

4. Get in 10k steps. I think I figured out I just can't do a strength workout same day as cardio so will make sure I get in 10k steps on strength days.

Today I am going to spend the whole day cooking for Thanksgiving dinner!
I realized last night that this is the first time in many years that I am doing most of the work myself. I have been getting my daughters to do most of the work for me because I wasn't physically capable of doing it all myself.
This year it worked out that all of my older daughters will not be having dinner at home. I am so excited to do it myself! I've got tons of energy and can't wait to get started making all kinds of treats for my family.

1. WEDNESDAY : Make delicious stuff but keep the tasting to a mimimum. Log everything and stick to calorie goals. Walk at least 5 miles.
2. THURSDAY: Have a wonderful time enjoying the company of my friends and family, savor the feast, log everything. Walk at least 5 miles.
3. FRIDAY: Work the very best of the leftovers into my calorie goals. Log everything. Walk at least 5 miles.0 -

3. Go to gym in evening - what was I thinking, I'm WAY too tired after spending the day cooking. But I did walk an extra 2 miles in the kitchen today for a total of 7!

1. Get up early to put turkey in and finish a few things for dinner.
2. Eat very light breakfast
3. Take a walk with my hubby
4. Focus on protein and veggies with only a little of the most special carbs at dinner.

Ok I failed miserably at not tasting as I cooked, big time! But I did log practically everything and was still under with my exercise calories so I feel like I had a good day. I certainly had fun!
