Nice easy 40 miler this afternoon as it was a rest day from running. Starting my pre-marathon taper on Monday, so should be able to get in more bike miles as I decrease my running load. Looks like I'll be passing on the cross-Florida ride Sunday, as the logistics aren't looking too feasible.

Man, we had thunderstorms for the last few days and I have been slacking off this week! Today I managed to get in some hill repeats after work. Going up, I'm okay with, oddly enough, it's coming back down that's the problem. Getting better aka less twitchy and nervous, though!

Easy 20 today with a non-biking friend. Migrating back north Monday, where I'm trying to get around exclusively by bike for a few weeks. I'll see how that goes, but it should help with the mileage.
