Most recently Silver Linings playbook...I only made it about halfway through the movie. I was bored to tears...not even the wine helped.

Even the wine didn't help? Yikes! That's pretty bad!

Oh...and 'Bridesmaids'....I had a bee in my bonnet over that for at least 3 days. I so wanted to bust Kristen Wiig's character Annie in the face with a chair. Repugnantly weak, shallow, whiny, manipulative, wretched POS female character. If I were her, I would be ashamed for ever playing a role like that. Don't people have any integrity?

Everybody seemed to love this movie: it just made me angry that there are stupid girls out there like her who drive and vote.

truth just like the hangover movies bad acting, bad taste and immaturity all rolled into one movie. Shoot me now

    Crash
Traffic (I LOVED the UK version of Traffic (Traffik), it was brilliant.)
    Momento
Titanic (laughing at this movie almost got be thrown out of the theater

Also, I don't hate Michael Mann movies, but I'd like to re-edit them to remove all the scenes involving the protagonist looking knowing off into the distance....it would knock the movie running times down to around 90minutes!

Definitely second the 'Black Swan' vote.

Pretentious dross. But pretty good as an out and out comedy.

  • Now, movies that I thought were good that the critics hated...lots of those too. lol

That seems to be my opinion as well.

I don't think it's critically acclaimed, but everyone I know loved it... Bridesmaids! Thought it was terrible! But I'm not a fan of toilet humour and cringey-ness. :P

Don't know how critically acclaimed it was, but Drive. God, that movie was awful... Also it was senselessly violent, and I enjoy violent movies.

Books were way better than the movie. Made a lot more sense to me.

I liked this, and I like most Terrence Malick movies, but Tree of Life was a load of nonsense (although many of the family scenes were nice, they did not make up for THE DINOSAURS).

I like Ryan Gosling but he's in two of my least favorite indie movies; Lars and the Real Girl, and Drive.

Could not finish watching "Man with the iron fists."

Everything with Will Farrel in it.

I would say everything with Nicolas Cage in it but I'm pretty sure the critics hate him too and I did enjoy "Kick *kitten*" in spite of him.

If it has Nicolas Cage, has it ever been critically acclaimed other than Raising Arizona?

Definitely Titanic. My mom threw a book at me for laughing when the guy falls and hits the stacks on the way down.
