Having a horrible memory. Hear a song at the gym that I want to add to my playlist. Forget the song before leaving the gym.

In the midst of a 990 day logging streak, getting the following "welcome beginner!" message from MFP providing me with tracking basics.

    Hi -

    Welcome to MyFitnessPal!

We’re excited to support you as you work towards your health and fitness goals.

The key to reaching your goals with MyFitnessPal is consistent tracking.

Tracking helps you learn how to make healthier decisions around food and activity.

88% of people who track with MyFitnessPal for seven days lose weight.

There are five things to know about tracking:

    1. The more you track, the more likely you are to reach your goals.
    2. Tracking gets easier the more you do it.
    3. It’s always better to track something versus nothing at all.
    4. You can start building the habit of tracking by logging one meal at a time.
    5. If you can’t find an exact match for what you want to track, just pick something similar.

For more tips on getting started, check out The Beginner’s Guide To MyFitnessPal:

Why wait? Track a food now and get one step closer to reaching your goal.

I hardly ever go to the mall, but today my aim way to do my business and get out. So...
    - At the mall, people who walk 3, 4, 5 abreast, blocking everyone behind them.
    - Women who get all dressed up to...go shopping?? Reminds me of the Van Morrison lyrics "And all the girls walk by, Dressed up for each other"
    - Hipsters. Bwaahh haa haa haaa! The guy with $900 ridiculous shoes 3 sizes too big, in a tunic, Bolero coat and swooped up shellaced high hair.

Ok, totally judgemental on my part, I admit. I recall my parents being appalled at hip huggers, bell bottoms, bare midriffs, etc. This is just the newest version of that. What goes around...

That the cleaner kills 99.9% of germs... that's a LOTTTT of germs... so why can't it get that last 0.1%... And that 0.1% makes me irrationally angry too... because it's one scary mother effer...
