saggy breasts and only 21

I spend way to much time wording about it.
I never had perky breasts even when I weighed more, but now that I lose weight they look terrible. They have not shrunk much still fit the same cup different band size, but they look deflated and empty.
I'm only 21 is there a way for them to get better?
I still have 20ish pounds to lose.
My biggest insecurity are my breasts, I'm young and have the breasts of a 40 year old woman that had like five kids.

For some people, it's just how their body is built. You could try to do some lifting or other muscle building exercises that target the chest area, that may pull them up a bit.5

Some of us just have pendulous breasts. Very frustrating in an era that favors gravity-defying grapefruits, I know, but it is what it is. And unfortunately losing weight never helps them look any better. They just get longer and flatter. You are young, though, so maybe your skin will tighten up somewhat.17

Treat yourself to some beautiful underwear and try and remember that breasts come in all shapes and sizes. Even Victoria's Secret Angels have the benefit of bras to make their's look perky!12

The skin will probably tighten up some. I'm 36 (with 4 kids) and mine are pulling in a bit, so a as 21-year-old, you've got some hope yet.
Think of it this way: Would you rather regain the weight and live life like that, or get a push-up bra and stay thin?
I say some variation of that every time my dear husband makes a comment about the new "itty bitties" with the lower latitude. "Well, how bout I gain the 88lb back? No? You like this better? OK. Then, shut yer face!"17 -
I feel your pain. Mine are/were the same since I was young. They're just normal, I've come to accept them. The hubs doesn't mind them at all. I think we girls get a distorted image of what breasts should look like anyways. Breast implants are one of the most performed cosmetic surgeries so they're fairly common. I've thought about getting it done myself. I have a hubby who loves me and two beautiful kids. Seems like a waste of money now. Just takes body acceptance it took me years and sometimes it still bothers me, but now I just invest in some damn nice bras. Hugs to you I know where your at, but know you're beautiful and breasts don't define who you are.10

Consider getting a breast lift one day! Nothing wrong with that, and you won't have to put any foreign objects in your body like you would with a breast augmentation.10

I'm in the same boat. I actually was in Victoria Secret the other day trying on different lingerie and if it didn't have built in support *bam* down they go seeking the friendship of my naval *sigh*. But don't fret, as so many people have said it's just the way our bodies are built and we have a seriously distorted view on how our breasts should look unsupported.
Though focus on any strength exercise that focuses on the pecs, that may help a little5 -

Well as a guy I'm probably in the wrong thread. Haha, that being said, I thought this ^ was perfect. Would you rather have the weight back or some sag in your breast? I'm only 18 and a long way off marriage, but I would in no way ever judge my wife in terms of her breast. I think it's awesome that you've lost the weight keep going!
I'm sure you can target your chest area with workouts to tighten up.19 -
I think maybe it would help to get an idea of how varied real women's breasts really are. There are a lot of unrealistic representations out there, some misguided ideas of how things should look. Google normal breast gallery (there are pictures of breasts there, heads up) to see what different non-famous women's breasts look like in terms of shape, size, etc. I know you've experienced a change from what was normal for you, but it might feel better to see that even the changed you isn't so out there.
You could try working on pecs to increase the lift a tiny bit, if it bothers you. If it really bothers you, there's always surgery.9 -
Sis, I feel ya. The struggle is real. I am also 21 and have lost 36 pounds. I went from a G to a triple D. My skin didnt get the memo though lol6

Don’t worry honey, they’re probably not as bad as you think. I had the same thoughts when I was younger but trust me I have had no complaints 😉 your idea of what “nice” breasts look like is probably built off of pictures of models wearing push up bras and with boob jobs. Don’t stress - just embrace that’s how your body is

Well, hell, now I want an update. Does she have the breasts of a 26 year old now or a 46 year old?13 -
Her profile says she was active January 25th. I hope she'll come back and give an update. I'd love to know too.5

Well someone should tag her. @momentai How are the girls hanging now?8 -
hey cheer up it means you've got them! I think everyone has this problem and honestly all I can say is try and do some chest exercises which will build the muscles up and improve an appearance. But you have to do a lot of work. I've looked at videos on YouTube, for upper chest and cable exercises. As a woman I like the cables a lot because it offers some gentle resistance and moves with you. Everyone has their thing. But cables are great for chest.
Otherwise, push up bras1 -

Hah! I've had the breasts of a 90 year old since I was six!5 -
I don't know a ton about this subject, but just wanna say mine were (IMO) v. saggy for a 20-something and now at 43 they are seriously NO worse -- not even after losing a ton of weight (100+). It's like they're the same shape and everything...twenty years later.8
-
Nope, mix of breast tissue and fat. Those with a greater tissue to fat ratio are more likely to retain their shape with weight loss, those with greater fat are more likely to deflate.8 -

Yup. If I could be bothered to look up my pathology report, it might even give some indication of how much of each kind of tissue mine had. I know it said how much they weighed total, and how big the part was that had gone rogue.
I understand that sagginess is an important concern for many women, and that it's discouraging that sagginess can increase with weight loss. Truly, I do sympathize, 100% sincerely.
It might also be useful to consider that other bad things can happen to breasts, and that those bad things become more likely if one stays overweight/obese, according to the statistics.
Do those self-checks, everyone. Young women and men are not immune. (I met a woman who was diagnosed at 19, and many under 30. Men are often diagnosed at later stages, when treatment is harsher and less effective, because they don't realize it can happen to males.)
Apologies for being a downer. Stay healthy!14 -

I hugged you hard so you'd spit the gummy bear back out.4 -
Wear a good supportive bra, do exercises for your pecs. Since you're young the skin will probably tighten some.4
