Successes/struggles this week: lost a bit overall and that is good. Maybe I can reach my goal but even if not I got very close - happy me! I did regular exercise but I had a bit of a rough weekend when it comes to food drink and sleep (=lack of). lots of fun though but I am very tired and that makes me vulnerable in terms of wise choices today. No gym tonight as I just want to go to bed. Will try to fit some in tomorrow. Before the weekend I was really good when it comes to calorie deficit, burned calories... but did not lose much, even had a gain in between and that left me a bit frustrated. I can feel the first excitement slowing down and that's a dangerous thing. I hope to feel more energized after a good night's sleep and carry on. Really hope there will be a July follow up on this as I weigh myself daily and here the overall tendency is clearer to see.
Yesterday I was down to 83.1 and I kept my calories and went to the gym so I was hoping to reach my goal. well, didn't happen but still 3 kg gone, hopefully for good!0 -

My goal was 125...so I'm gonna say good enough like someone on here already mentioned I can never find my old posts to track my weights, so above is a readers digest version.
Successes: embracing and appreciating the slow and steady weight loss mentality! I'm only 5-10 lbs away from goal, which may take me a few more months, and that's just fine. It's a journey, not a destination.
Struggles: social events and meals out. I'm great at sticking to my calorie goal when it's just me and I make my own meals, but I still tend to get off track when it comes to fun social occasions with food and alcohol0 -

Oh I'm so excited to find this thread!! I've been heavy for years and like everyone else have tried everything and had some success but it always came right back. I've realized that it has to be a lifestyle change and choice- so with MFP Diary and adding exercise I'm going to do just that!!

Successes - I didn't put on which is good but I was a little disappointed that I didn't lose in the week between 22nd and 29th either. I've been so good with my eating, recording everything and getting some exercise in. But I won't give up!
Struggles - Again, it's hard to get active on my work days. I sit in front of a computer for 12 hours which is never good for anyone but I try to get up and walk around or stand up at my desk every half hour or so.
