    Struggles :bad weekend, wifes bday party and we had a bbq with all sorts of good things and I just kept grazing
    Successes: I am only up .02 of a pound when I was way up yesterday, but even though I was grazing on corn chips and salsa, I had raw vegies for diner to fill me up and get some good food into me. Looks like it worked.

    Successes/struggles this week: I was sick with pneumonia last week. I was actually down another pound when I went to the doctor on Wednesday. I think the lack of exercise and food hit me pretty had, even though I wasn't taking much in, I wasn't burning any either. I'm better this week but still very weak so taking it easy. I used my sickness as an excuse for ice cream, lots of it. Sore throat, hardly eating so figured it would be ok. Though I technically didn't gain anything this week, I know I was down a pound earlier this week and I gained that pound back. That just irks me. So going to get my steps back up first this week and hopefully I'll be up to some actual cardio next week. And no more ice cream!

    work that off! On Wednesday I decided I should

    Our Grandson had a birthday party yesterday and the cake
    was not a temptation at all!! Also I was able to wear a
    pair of capris that I haven't worn for 2 years! <3

    I want to see those teens on my scale!

    Successes/Struggles: Weekend calories, as always! So many parties in the summer, all with food and drink. And weigh in on "bloated Mondays." But I made it to my goal earlier this week (182), so just hoping to get back there (and past it!) ASAP.

    Successes: My roommate moved back in after spending a few weeks with her parents... she brought cookie dough, chinese food leftovers, and doritos among other snacks. I didn't have any of it! I stayed strong and didn't eat off my plan :)

    Struggles this week: Weight loss is slowing which is discouraging after two weeks of huge loss. I ate a little extra chocolate this past week, but I also had longer and harder workouts :( Hopefully some of the slow progress is due to my TOM coming this week. Hoping for a bigger number next week!

    Oh I'm so excited to find this thread!! I've been heavy for years and like everyone else have tried everything and had some success but it always came right back. I've realized that it has to be a lifestyle change and choice- so with MFP Diary and adding exercise I'm going to do just that!!

    I need friends to add me and encourage me and I will do the same in return-

    Struggles or successes of your week:
    Struggles: I was under eating four days and that killed sufficient weight loss (was hoping for 2 lbs as I was religiously exercising with cardio.) By doing this, I was forcing my body to hang on to the weight to avoid "starvation". Can't under eat the suggested calorie intake! Big mistake! Will try to avoid it in the future.
    Successes: My weight didn't move the entire week, but managed to work it off on the weekend again.
