    I am way behind this month on running and keeping up with you guys thanks to some awesome vacations and killer leg pains. I just picked up some new inserts for my shoes that will hopefully stabilize my feet a little better and cut down on some twisting that the guy at the running store says might be a culprit. I have 5 miles in them so far and the pain isn't any worse. Taking another rest day today and see how I feel tomorrow.

    6/1 - 4.0 miles, still a little tender from Saturday's race
    6/2 - 4.25 miles; 8.25/120
    6/3 - 4 miles, indoor track; weights/abs
    6/4 - 4.9 miles, Trek/treadmill - would it kill my Y to put some fans in the cardio room?!?
    6/5 - 4.4 miles, a little humid, but nice!
    6/6 - planned rest day
    6/7 - 8.1 miles, STICKY...summer is here for sure.
    6/8 - unplanned rest day - all that time watching baseball in the sun sucked it out of me.
    6/9 -4.1 miles; 33.75/120
    6/10 - 4.5 miles
    6/11 - BAGEL :/ Woke up feeling sick.
    6/12 - 4.5 miles, soggy and foggy
    6/13 - 7.53 miles
    6/14 - rest day
    6/15 - 4 miles, indoor track; weights / abs
    6/16 - 4.25 miles...lovely day!
    6/17 - 4 miles
    6/18 - 4.1 miles...gorgeous out this morning!
    6/19 - 4.2 miles...another beautiful morning!
    6/20 - 7.25 miles
    6/21 - 2 miles; short, slow run with my daughter on Father's Day <3

    I gotta dig out my computer at home and hit this feed on the weekends...feel like I miss too much!

    Congrats @skippygirlsmom on the 3rd place swag! Plus, you're total for this month is awesome!
    @HonuNui - nice run for a good cause, and great photo!
    @scoutmomof8 - that was about the same time I had for my first 5k...way to go!! Look out, those races are addictive!

    6/1 - 5 miles
    6/2 - 5.3 miles
    6/3 - 3.2 miles
    6/4 - 4.4 miles
    6/5 - 2.3 miles
    6/6 - 1.6 miles - rest day today but did this to keep the 41 Days of Awesome challenge streak going
    6/7 - 7 miles - I'm so proud of this run it was at 10:21 pace, which is fast for me - I was comfortable the whole run
    6/8 - 4.4 miles
    6/9 - 5.8 miles
    6/10 - 1.6 miles - rest day today - just keeping the 41 Days of Awesome challenge alive. I'm trying to do this mile at a faster than normal pace for me. Then I grabbed Macy and took her for a 2 mile walk.
    6/11 - 6 miles
    6/12 - 4.7miles
    6/13 - 4.6 miles
    6/14 - 9.6 miles very hot miles. I think it was about 83 when I went to run. Went to the Greenway to be in the shade. Sweat was dripping off my shorts by the time I was done. I was ticked I couldn't run the whole 10 miles so I went back out after getting my water for a fast paced .6 mile walk.
    6/15 - 1.6 miles - keeping the 41 Days of Awesome challenge alive
    6/16 - 5.6 miles
    6/17 - 3.2 miles -short run, had to get Macy to groomer by 7:00
    6/18 - 7.4 miles my virtual run for State Trooper Dees.
    6/19 - 1.6 miles for the streak and strolled a couple with the Macy after
    6/20 – 3.1 miles 5K race for Big Brothers/Big Sisters – PR’d with a 28:57.4 for 3.16 miles – finished 3rd in my AG and 79th out of 273 runners. 9:10 pace – ran 9:06, 9:19, 9:11
    6/21 – 5.7 miles
    6/22 - 5.5 miles

    99.3 out of 120 miles (you know I'm going to have to go out tonight and run .7 miles LOL)

    6/13 - 3.1 Run and Ride 5k
    6/15 - 1mi before my strength session with my trainer. Not the best idea since she wanted to focus on legs and core this week LOL.
    6/17 - 2.0 mi
    6/17 - 2.4 mi
    6/20 - 3.15 Virtual 5k complete but not happy with the time so may do over Monday or Tuesday. Results are not due until Friday.
    6/22 - 3.1

    Total 24.25 5.75 to go

    I have to take an extra rest day for my sore right glute. I have a 10.2 mile race this Saturday that I need to be prepared for.

    Getting back into it - knee is still sore, but seems to be getting pushed out every time I run. Today was just tight when I stopped. I ordered one of those ITB compression bands to help so I can train while I work on building my core/hip muscles to fix the root cause.

    6.28 k today for a total of 62.2/70 k for the month.

    A typhoon may hit us in the next few days. That will mean one of three things will happen. 2 of which I can run in, 1 of which I cannot. 1) no effect on the weather 2) rainy and perfect running weather 3) torrential monsoon downpours. Need I explain which one is not running weather? :lol:

    Still fighting to rid myself of the last of my cold. Ugh... puts me seriously behind where I ought to be for volume this month.

    Despite that, had a great Father's Day run with the whole family - it's been probably 10 years since we all last ran together. Very nice to be able to do this, easily, this year when last year it would have been physically impossible for me.

    Alrighty running peeps.
    No run for me this weekend- not even any hiking- bestie got hammered and was barely functional the next day- so we just kind of took the day off and hung out in the pedestrian mall. I was disappointed but eh- it happens.
