    Successes/struggles this week:
    ***Struggles - Evenings were a little hard with some hunger pangs that I tried to ignore. A few nights I ended up having a Greek yogurt, which did the trick. Also, getting my body moving again has been a struggle because I didn't realize just how out of shape I am.
    ***Success - I'm thrilled with the big loss this first week! I know it's mostly water weight but I feel and look less bloated, so I'll take it! I've stuck to my diet by preparing my meals ahead of time. Drank my water, which used to be an issue. I bought a Fitbit Surge (never owned a fitness tracker before) and some new walking shoes so now I'm going to focus on steps, steps, and more steps!

    From 1/7 to 7/7= This week I loose, gained and loose weight. I had to keep a low carbs diet to lose weight.

    Successes/struggles this week: The long weekend had me messed up in terms of eating, thinking I deserved a treat. I was doing poorly at actually finishing my logs (which is surprising because I was doing so well before). I have recommitted myself to accurately logging everything, even if it is over.

    Successes/struggles this week: It's strange getting used to not weighing every day, but ultimately I think it's something good to try, especially if you, like me, have a tendency to step on and off, worry about tiny fluctuations, etc. I'm glad that I took a lot of opportunities to exercise this week, including swimming laps, walking, and running. I didn't finish the Pilates challenge but I am doing to 30 day Squat challenge and will incorporate some helpful Pilates moves to increase hip strength and mobility.

    Successes: Remained active and mentally positive, committed to my goal. Clothes fitting better & noticing a difference :)
    Struggles: My Crossfit workouts were limited by a minor surgery and I have not been running as much as last month. Seem to have hit a bit of a slow-down (not going to say the 'plateau' word), but will carry on!

    Tracy,
    2 lbs loss a week is good unless you are obese, which you are not. So 15 lbs loss a month seems a bit much for your height/weight....just a thought. Hope you don't mind.

    Okay, so this might seem ridiculous, but I actually added some weight to that number up there because I didn't believe the scale this morning when it said 213.5. I'll keep weighing myself and I may have a half a pound start on next week at this rate.
    My big struggle was fourth of July parties, and I am proud to say that, while I did go above my goal a couple times, I was always at a number where I would be losing weight.
    I've started taking the stairs at work, which is a bigger deal than it sounds since I work on the top floor of a small tower. I still have to stop around floor 5 and breathe for a moment, but I was stopping at floor 3 this time last week so I know I'm improving!

    Successes/struggles this week: For successes-I met my goal of at least 30 minutes of exercise every day last week! I started the 30 Day Shred a few days ago as well, but due to existing joint issues, I can only do it every other day with something else in between, so its more of a 60 Day Shred. :) For struggles-I actually was mostly okay this week. My only main struggle was staying away from the snacks machine in the work cafeteria in the afternoon between lunch and when I go home. I've started packing an extra piece of fruit now if I feel I'm really hungry, so hopefully that will help! My goal this week is to exercise for at least 40 minutes a day on non 30DS days.

    Successes this week: I cut my coffee with cream & sugar from 4 cups a day to ONE!!!!!
    Struggles this week: I am struggling with eating ALL of the food on the plan my nutritionist gave me. I just don't want to eat. Before I started my weight loss journey, I forgot to eat all the time. This new food plan has me thinking about food ALL the time... trying to remind myself it's time to eat every two hours. I never thought a fat girl(me) would be saying "I'm tired of food", but jeez louise. I'm tired of food!

    Successes: Finally slid off the 3 week plateau, after a marathon day of cardio exercises. I am pre-planning menus every morning to stay under 1200 cals. I include little portions of treat foods throughout the day so that I don't feel deprived. It seems to be working very well at the moment. Started the Game of Thrones challenge on Sunday and have already met the majority of my set targets.
    Struggles: Several social events threatened to derail my plans, but I just made sure I did extra cardio to offset any lapses.
