    Successes/struggles this week: I usually wait longer to weigh in, so seeing the scale "only" show a loss of a pound and a half was sort of disconcerting. (Silly me.) Buuuut I've been super diligent about going to the gym!

    - Struggled a lot this week. I figured I would as it was the week of the 4th of July. Plus there was not one, but two parties that I went to (plus an added Birthday Party too!) I'm SO happy that I didn't gain and just stayed close to the same weight. I'll do better next week!

    Successes/struggles this week: I started my 3rd week of insanity max 30 this week and was eating at maintenance since I started as I am trying to find a calorie range that works well with nursing and an active lifestyle. So this week I am going to experiment with my calories. Today I am soooo hungry :/ I did have a success, I meal prepped my whole week's worth of breakfasts, snacks and lunches!

    Success this week: cut back coffee (w/milk & Splenda) habit from 4-6 cups down to 2 cups black or w/almond milk. Diet is clean, running consistently

    Challenges: yuck caffeine withdrawal! Also, find it challenging to balance diet and have adequate fuel on board before a run- still working on this!

    Struggles: It's been tough to find the time for the gym and there has been lots of cake in the office and I have been enjoying a fair bit of it.
    Successes: I have been cycling to work everyday and I am snacking a lot less than say 2 months ago. I don't really miss it and it saves so much calories.

    This is the month of birthdays and holidays, so my goal is very conservative.
    To be honest if I manage to just maintain this month and not gain that would be great!

    First birthday party weekend and I did eat a lot of cake, crisps and drank beer - by Monday I had gained a little bit.
    Did my normal fasting day on Monday, but was still not feeling hungry on the Tuesday, so I accidentally did a second fast day - seems to have worked though, since despite the weekend over indulgence I lost more than I expected!

    Successes/struggles this week: Been eating fairly well this week aside from the whole wheat donuts my sister and I made yesterday, but everyone needs a treat now and again. I've been weighing everything I eat, unless I am out which I think is helping a lot. I've been to the gym three times this week and am going tomorrow as well. Also took my aunts dog for a nice walk on Monday, we did almost 2 miles. getting myself back on track wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.

    Successes/struggles this week: Successfully lost one pound but it was a struggle due to the holiday weekend with attending Ribfest and a Craft beer show. I had to really push my workouts so I could have those extra calories to eat up.

    Successes/struggles this week: Finally a loss - which is actually twice as much as my whole loss last month - so really happy as thought I'd be bouncing up & down the same few pounds forever. Perseverance is the lesson learnt.

    My Fitbit has gone kaput today so really annoyed that I'm showing 0 steps when I've done at least 10k. grrrrrrr.
