CHALLENGE FOR JULY 2015 -- SAY "NO" TO LATE NIGHT SNACKING

July starts the second half of the year. Where did the time go?!
Tired of self-sabotaging by munching after dinner? Upset that you double your in-calories at night? Then it's not just me . To get some help (or inspire us by your good example), please join us in this challenge.
You set what you feel is late night snacking. For example, if you have extra calories left for the day, you can have a snack if it's small. Others decide not to eat at a past a certain time. It's up to you.
We go by the formula:
Me: "number indicating how many evenings you stuck to it"
LNS: "number of times late night snacks won"
Example: Me: 2 - LNS: 0 indicates I won the first two nights.
Some people also add a * to the latest number. In the example, that would be
Me: 2 - LNS: 1*
if LNS won the 3rd night.
It's as simple as that. Or as complicated, as you will discover. Nevertheless, the persistence and good results of some of our "old" members (and some people keep coming back) show that the battle is worthwhile .
Welcome!

Hi: I'd like to join in this month's challenge pls. I have been lurking your June thread and it has helped me already, thank you everyone in your June challenge. Honestly, I seem to do well for 3 or 4 days and then crash and burn one night which cancels out any of my good work! Good luck everyone! Cheers, Marian0

I didn't participate in June's challenge and saw a decrease in the amount of weight I was able to loss. This challenge really helps me stay focused, so I'm back in for July. Thanks for running the challenge each month!0

I am in! Let me know the next step. This is def my downfall. I eat pretty well throughout day, until after dinner. My weight is gradually increasing and I think this challenge will help me

I would like to join. This is probably the hardest part of the day for me. It's when everything comes to bite me in the booty that I have been putting off all day. I have been working on sleeping habits and exercising and that has helped some. Everyone has an Achilles heel I guess.0

welcome everyone! I'm so glad the challenge is helping!0

There was really no excuse for this one. The only consolation is that I went for a bike ride this evening after I snacked. Bring on tomorrow!0 -

I'd love to join this. My dinners are usually quite late and I end up overeating 'cause I'm just so tired and hungry!

Happy Thursday!!
Well, I am probably the only one that blew it the first day out - yep I did. My leg (with the blood clot) was hurting a lot. So late last night I made my way into the kitchen and found a package of nuts. You know what? After eating half of the package my leg was still hurting, those nuts didn't help at all.
So to begin the wonderful month of July I am already in the wrong column.
ME = 0
LNS = 1*
I am so proud of each of you!!

GAWD! That's me in a nut shell. I will challenge myself not to eat anything after 6 PM. I will eat a high fiber, high protein dinner and that's it until breakfast. Great idea! I was just talking about a partial fast with my trainer this morning.0

We usually eat dinner late, finishing around 8pm, sometimes 9pm. So my goal is no late snacking after 9:30pm. (We usually go to bed at midnight.)
4th of July would be a challenge --- since we're having a bbq party at our house! I might as well put a "1" on LNS right now. But of course, I wont do that.0 -
