What were you really like in high school

Uck... High school really sucked for me... I was over weight, in a small town and had cousins and a brother that went to the same school before me. My cousins were twin boys, very cute, very smart... both gay. My brother was in the "extra help" classroom most of the time... so there was plenty of assumptions to be made about the youngest of that family.
I was in band, Select choir, color guard... a teachers aid for 2 years. LOVED woodworking class, took it all 4 years and have many things now that I've built myself.
I was sad in high school, never fit in (even within my circle of friends) and my life outside of that school was absolutely emotional torcher.0 -
Same as today, super awkward, only now I embrace it.0

Bright hair, bold outfits, and I kept mostly to myself or in my art classes, drawing, with a small group of friends. I always saw myself as sort of a loner and in my own head. Years later, it turns out people thought I was some kind of secret Fonz who was way too cool for everyone.
I wish someone had given me the heads up as a kid, I would've ridden that wave like no tomorrow.
Mostly I just spent my days with my head in the clouds wondering how people talk to each other without making an a** out of themselves.
artist?
Um, yes? I paint. For myself, though. I haven't done any commissioned work in years due to some pretty heavy stuff in my life clouding my noggin and messing with my confidence in that respect.
ahh cool, oils, acrylic, gouache? I draw, graphite only really. Done a bit of digital stuff but prefer traditional stuff
Mixed media, usually acrylics, inks, watercolors. I was self-taught in photoshop and illustrator. I think it's really neat that kids these days have these amazing editor apps on their phones and are blissfully unaware of how it used to occasionally be a painstaking process to take film and digitize it and edit it from there. I used to take my finished line-art and colorize it through illustrator and PS.
That is similar to my first foray into digital are, colouring line art. I still cant prefer it over traditional, graphite seems to still have that wow factor. Have a deviantart account? would like to check some of it out!0 -

I haven't updated my deviant art account since I was like...16. Isn't it 100% furry porn now? Chibis? I've definitely improved since then. I don't have anything online at the moment.0 -

Punk rock, roadied, skated, snowboarded, lifted, iconoclast, and wrote zines and really into Doctor Who/sci fi. Pretty much the same as I am now -- except for the snowboarding/skating, roading, and zines.0

I'm actually re-watching it right now!! I stopped watching in after Mulder left and I never watched the last two seasons. I'm on the second to last season now and it's fantastic getting to see episodes I've never seen before!0 -

Can I say Krycek, just cause he's so hot?0 -
(it's okay if it was musical theatre, I was in that, too)
Jesus now that I think of it, I did a lot of crap in high school. I was also in a crappy punk garage band (guitar/vocals [I'm being generous when I say "vocals"])0 -
