What I miss the most from my unhealthy, overweight days is having parties at my house. We'd all be eating, drinking & smoking. That was the good old days.
I think I miss my cigarettes more than anything.6 -
P.s. Not getting friend requests from creepy guys!0

Surprisingly it's shopping! I know one thing said over and over again is how great it would be to finally be able to shop anywhere. But I find it so much harder to shop now for fit and opposed to comfort Going from a 20/22 to a 2/4 does allow more options so to speak but not as much as one would think. But of course I will accept the challenge - never hope to go back!!!
That's a good point. I have a lot more options compared to being a size 20/22 as well. However, I'm tall. Size small and medium perfect in width and with hugging my shape, but are are often too short in the arms and length for me.
I still wouldn't want to go back however! It's just that shopping for clothes isn't as magical as I thought it would be when I reached my goal size!

So many things I agree with! Like:
*Having boobs. Why were they the first to go?
*Never being freezing cold. Now I need a jacket if its under 75.
*Being invisible. Having been heavy for the past 14 years, people randomly talking to me is very strange.
*Having seconds and thirds at birthday parties, bbq's, etc. Now I couldn't eat that much if I tried.
Now, I have a family member who talks about me behind my back (apparently I'm "snooty" now. Whaa?)
I don't miss being unable to play with my kids, having constant back pain from my spinal fusion, not being able to bend over to pick up toys off the floor/put on shoes/paint my own toenails, having high cholesterol, being tired all the time......... I won't go back. Nothing I miss is worth that! :-)2 -
My moobs....

I miss not having to wear a jacket in the cold weather. I never bothered until it got down to close to zero unless I was going to be outside for a while.1

pasta, in more than a toddler portion size amount.7

I could definitely drink more in my heavier days.... now I'm HAMMERED after a couple of glasses of wine.3

My breasts. They're pretty pathetic now. They make me sad.3

Not being able to sit in my chairs without a pillow. Lost that fluffy backside!0

I really can't think of a darned thing. I still eat the foods I want (just not as much or as often, but they taste better when I do eat them because of that) and I've been logging long enough that I don't even think twice about it. Nope, I really can't think of a single thing that I miss about being fat.0

I miss being mostly ignored by the male population ages 12-80.3

Mindless eating and an easier timer shopping for clothes.1

I am still a work in progress so I can't say what I miss about being fat because I still am fat. However what I miss about not trying to lose weight it being able to get in an out of the grocery store in 40 minutes. Now I spend so much time reading labels it takes me at least an hour and a half. Sometimes it is the reading labels and sometimes it is wrestling with myself about whether that particular food item is worth the extra workout minutes.3

There is nothing I miss about it.0

It was easier, mindless living - now it's mindful which can be hard when food still tastes so good and you feel guilty if you don't get the exercise in for the day even when you have a cold. Clothing is harder because there are more options and depending on the style I could be small, medium or large instead of xl.2

I miss the support of other women. I went from a size 18 to a size 4. Around size 10, I really started to notice former supporters trying to cut me down. "That's good enough. Ugh are you still dieting?" One "friend" in particular even went so far as to start bringing me slices of cake and whatnot. Couldn't help but notice that this behavior would occur just as I start to dip below their own respective weight. These days I get a lot of "You look sick." It's vindictive. I'm exactly in the middle of the normal BMI range for my height. Maybe I just need to find new friends.
Also with some of y'all on the loss of breasts. Went from a double D to between an A and a B cup. I can wear a lot more different styles of clothes now, though.6 -
my womenly parts :P and ofc eating/drinking without thinking much of it except how good the food tastes and the big amounts of it i could just eat ..1

Not worrying about gaining any weight

I think it's just the free mindset - meaning I would eat without any mental hang ups about the calorie content, whether it's "bad" for me and just enjoy myself in a food vacuum. I could eat alot more and more times in a day too and thus prolong the enjoyment. Ignorance is bliss they say.
But after being so accustomed to exercising your knowledge when it comes to diet, health and fitness - the mindset and habits have become automatic and second nature. You exercise restraint without thinking very much about it. So you can't go all out and stuff your face as your stomach has literally shrank and you simply can't...and somehow mentally many times the reality of stuffing your face when you finally get the chance like how you used to do (after planning specifically for it via calories) no longer seems to live up to the fantasy you had in your head of double dipping oreos in full cream milk while taking bites of fudgy triple chocolate and raspberry and white chocolate brownies in between spoonfuls of gourmet cookie dough ice cream and Baileys / rum n raisin ice cream. Oh and handfuls of chips.
