    8/10 - Lofty Ladies ride! 22.4 miles in 1:24:48 (we only had one group due to the threat of rain/actual rain, so we had LOTS of stopping for the slower folks to catch up)
    8/11 - track workout: 4.16 miles in 46:39 - 1 mile warm up at 10:00 pace, then 6x200M sprints on 1 min with 200M walk (2-3 min) btw. Sprint splits: 56 sec, 52, 49, 51, 50, 49 (that is roughly a 6:08 avg pace for the sprints!!!). 1 mile cooldown at 9:34 pace, one lap walk. :)

    My goal ... to move more than I did in July

    Aug 1 - chilly (9C) and windy (30 km/h gusting to 57 km/h) with a "feels like" temp of about 5C and a little blast of sleet just to keep things interesting.

    And we cycled 38.5 km up the cycleway and back on our Thorn touring bicycles. (120 min)

    Aug 2 - 2 km walk (25 min) + 45 minutes swimming ... first time I've been swimming in a long time!

    Missed a few days of logging, but was a bit under the weather (due to antibiotics for the dog bite) so the activity levels/frequencies definitely were lower than average. Back to the cooler north, so planning to get in some longer runs & speed work. Should be able to hit my totals, but have my work cut out for me.

    Nothing more added yet. Finding it quite hard to get motivated really. No events planned, and spending a lot of time this month giving driving lessons to other half. Maybe's i get started up again after she passes (?) her driving test.

    8/15 - pre-race brick: 5.59 mi bike in 20:53 and 1.07 mi run in 10:56
    8/16 - Old Forge Tri (which was turned into a bike/run due to major fog on the pond): official splits - 22.6 mi bike in 1:15:00, T1 54 sec, 4 mi run in 37:32 - total 1:53:26 - race report is posted on Facebook...if you want, you can go to http://www.facebook.com/TBBCoachChristina to read it - it is one of the most recent posts, but I can't get you the direct link until I get home from work later. :)
    8/17 - Brick: easy 1.5 mi run in 15:39 before LL, then Lofty Ladies recovery ride of 19.41 miles in 1:22:36 (LOTS of stopping due to one flat and one mechanical issue - moving time was 1:09:41).
    8/18 - 1.26 mi easy ows in 54:26

    @gobonas99 sounds like an awesome Tri. That 75 minute 40k was super-impressive.

    Just got in 15 miles of biking (commuting) and 8 miles of running today. Going to return to the water & weight room tomorrow along with a run and bike. Looks like if I can pile on the running miles when up north this week, and do the same on the bike next week when back in the hot south, I'll squeeze by with my goal.

    Finally got in a heavy exercise day today as I snagged a pass for my gym up north so I could hit up the pool & weight room. Front loading my remaining running mileage this week as I'm afraid of how hot it'll be when running back in Florida next week.
