You've received page after page after page of great advice concerning your situation with this guy.... yet you do the opposite and return with even more to add to the problem. Instead of being a "whiney millennial" as you put it, it's your responsibility as an adult to own your issues and stop adding to this thread. Can we move on now?....
sorry, thought I was just using this thread for what it was meant for. I also just texted the guy saying no more sex or sleepovers, but nobody cares about that so oh well6 -

I think you and that guy should go on a date and do karaoke at a place neither of you ever goes. That way neither of you will feel embarrassed and you both can just relax and have fun. You're both adults, if that's the kind of relationship you both agree on, then own it. Life's too short to play games.5 -

I confess that, even though I agree with all the previous advice, I still want to give you a hug because there seems to be a part of you that won't allow you to believe that you're good enough and deserve better, and as someone who's dealt with that as well at times, no matter how old you are or how long you've had to carry it and still come up short of expectations, it never hurts to hear it one more time.5 -
