To the contrary...and my point...it's tossed around like a beach ball in the crowd at a baseball game. Yeah it's fun once or twice but after awhile its flat and covered with some drunk guys beer. Fun when it bounces to you...but cheap and meaningless.

My BF was in boot camp and I wouldn't have been able to afford the ticket anyway let alone a dress and all the other crap
My mom made me sell the dress afterwards to recoup some of the money.
And I did my own hair and makeup. I didn't even really like my date but I went because it's what my friends were doing. Oh, high school.
